On the map, SL seems to be flat. But the behavior of the sun seem different. On a region, it may be night time with the sun position under the region. But when you tp to a different region, it could be daytime. I believe the sun moves across regions along a longitude. So when you are on different longitude, you experience different daylight time.

I post this without reading all 5 pages of replies. Sorry if it is repeated. 1) Privacy screen from ground up till 500m. Because it destroy our SL experience. 2) Security orb from ground up till 500m. Because it causes lots of plane crashes in SL by removing the pilot from the craft. There is no such thing as privacy in SL. Live with it or go hide somewhere in the sky.

I usually prefer to copy the url to my land radio. A busy club might crash my SL viewer running on my old laptop.

Is there any train service that runs through those tracks?

I did, back in 2010. I owned an almost full sim at the corner of Zindra while paying full sim tier. The parcel has 2 sides facing the sea that you can't sail to anywhere. I lost my job in RL, in debt and can't pay the next tier. But manage to keep my premium account and an old LH. I never login after this as I could afford to buy a new gaming PC. Attracted by the new LH theme in Bellisseria, I came back last year. And I realize I don't really need an Adult rated land. Moderate will do. SL Viewer has improved a lot. I don't need a gaming PC to run it with good graphic without lag.

What user want: Real avatars to interact with. We do not want a sim filled with avatars that do not help in user experience. What businesses want: Traffic. Don't allow avatar as a means to affect traffic. Allow business to use other means to improve their traffic.

I don't understand why Fantasy LH is so unpopular. If you were take a walk around the neighborhood at night, you will notice they are so beautiful.

For LH, you are given a parcel with amount of prim count in proportion to the parcel size you own. Your linden home is not counted to the prim you own, which is why Linden Homes are so attractive. The only disadvantage is the type of house is restricted to the few option available. SL does offer land that has double prim and you are free to use any house you want. Those land are in Bay City, Nautilus City and Zindra (Adult land).

Most housboat parcels are rectangle with neighbors pack so close to each other that you can laterally jump from one boat to another. I prefer square ones with more spaces between neighbors. Locations are also important. You are lucky if you can get a corner parcel next to a canal or public land.

I'm waiting for a mobile viewer that has the same function and quality of the desktop viewer. A mobile option, not a mobile assistant.

If LL does that it will go bankrupt by the end of the year. 200 Premium lifetime and 20 P.P will be within their budget to celebrate 20 years of SL.

You think to much. The 200 Premium lifetime is really insignificant for them. Just a goodwill offer to celebrate SL20.

I'm glad to find out about this Lifetime membership offer before it's gone. Luckily the 200 Premium Lifetime offer still available. I have been a Premium member for more than 10 years, even though there was some years I never login.

You nailed it. Mainland should have a Covenant and residents should be able to derender objects on some parcels. I have left SL for 10 years and came back recently because LL have build a much better 'mainland' that I enjoy - the Linden Homes. It shows that a regulated mainland can be a better place to live in. And because I have an extra 1024m2 tier, I tried to use it on the good old mainland. After searching for a while, I give up. Individual who build tall ugly building and privacy screen ruin the expensive coastal parcel. Yes, I can build a skybox. But why would I want to purchase a parcel in a beautiful seaside or hilltop yet end up living in a box? LL can sell those abandoned land cheap, but it will end up being abandon again if the ugly mess is not improved. This is why I think a covenant with a ability to derender objects on some parcels will help.

Linden Homes are all owned by the moles. The house might be placed on your parcel but the root prim is outside your parcel. That means you can't edit it. The good thing with this is that you won't find neighbors with ugly house that spoiled you view. As this is something you have to live with on mainland. And the house won't take up you parcel LI, that's a bonus. But you do has a choice of a few house type, depending on the theme you choose. And you can choose the texture and color of your house from the available tool. Trust me, Linden Home is the best low cost option. If you have the $$$, you can try private estate. Mainland is still as messy as it used to be, only slide improvement as you won't see small pieces of 16m2 parcels selling at high price. You can't avoid the ugly partition walls and ugly buildings unless you own at least 1/4 sim. Btw, if you are Premium Plus, you can choose your Linden Home. Just TP around to find an unoccupied house you like and submit a support ticket. That's how I got mine near a big pond.

Finally. I have waited so long for the mobile hardware to catch up. And also a mobile viewer on IOS.

You are right. I use the Opera mini browser now and it is fast. Don't understand why safari is so slow

It runs so slow that it takes sometime for each letter I type to appear. Why not design a mobile version for Marketplace? Like facebook mobile If it is convenience to use, I'll use it more often :D
