  3. Olá Deeisy. Se você ver o seu avatar como uma bola branca ou uma nuvem significa que seu avatar não é totalmente carregada. No primeiro tentar rebake suas texturas com Ctrl + Alt + R. Repita várias vezes se for necessário. Se isso não funcionar para você, testar seu avatar. Em Viewer 2 dar o comando: Menu Desenvolver (Ctrl + Alt + Q) -> Avatar - Testes> Personagem -> Test Masculino / Feminino. Se funcionar, você vai ver o seu avatar, como um novato, mas depois você pode mudar roupa vestindo novamente seu favorito.   7. Hello Doctor. Some infos for your system's stats would be helpful for a better answer. The cause is maybe your graphics card or something else. You can edit your post (options --> edit) if you wish. For now, try to download and install an older version of Viewer 2 and set your software updates NO to be installed automatically. (Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware). You can find older versions at the following link: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Release_Notes The older versions of V2 are still active on the production grid, but are not formally supported by Linden Lab Customer Support. You will fix your problem if you clear your cache manually: (XP) - C: \ Documents and Settings \ (USER NAME) - Application Data \ SecondLife and C: \ Documents and Settings \ (USER NAME)\ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Second Life (Vista) and (Win 7) - C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ AppData \ Roaming \ SecondLife and C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ Secondlife Log out and delete everything in those folders and restart first your computer and after the program. Usually the folder Appdata is a hidden folder. (Windows Tools \ Folder Options \ View & enable Show Hidden Files/Folders) Have in your mind that if you clear your cache manually you will lose all your private conversations which are saved in your computer. To avoid it copy the folder with your username in the folder Secondlife in another position in your hard disk. If you have more that 1 viewers installed in your computer, you must to do it for all following the same paths in your hard disk. For example C: \ Users \ (USER NAME) \ ApplData \ Local \ PhoenixViewer If you need more help let us know. Good luck.

  10. Hello theladymaggie and welcome to SL Forums. If you get the message "DNS could not resolve host name" it is a known problem especially for users with Macs. See https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-25627 A solution is described at the following link and seems that works for the most of the users: http://neilrobinson.wordpress.com/2008/05/19/a-fix​-for-dns-errors/ You need to add the following additional DNS servers to your DNS settings in Network settings under System Preferences: 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 If it doesn't work for you, you can download an older version of viewer 2 here (suggested older than 2.6.3) and set your software updates NO to be installed automatically. (Preferences --> Setup --> Hardware) Good luck.

At first you must to download the latest drivers for your graphics card and you can find them at the following link: http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk If the problem remains, change your graphics settings in your log in screen giving the command: Menu Me --> Preferences --> Graphics Tab and set your graphics to medium or to low, disable all the additional settings from Advanced tab there (shaders) and try to log in again in a protected land like Smith, Pooley or Lime. Generally after the new updates of Viewer 2, the system every time you run the program for first time, suggests you the recommended settings for your computer. Avoid to change them. Good luck.

There's some possibility that a poorly written application/driver uninstall inadvertently removed one or more files which are necessary for running the program. Have you done any driver upgrades or changes recently? Also, it could be possible that some sort of hard drive problem, system crash, or possibly a virus deleted a file. My suggestion is to uninstall the program and install again. If the problem remains, try to download an older version of Viewer 2 Here or a Third Party Viewer Here. Good luck

If so, you might to recieve a mail explaining why. Your account may also have been put on hold by mistake, or for an administrative reason -- maybe someone else has been using your account for phishing or other unauthorized purposes. In any case, the only people who can take your account off hold again are at LL. Note that someone else in your household may be responsible for this activity, not necessariliy with your account. If you believe that this is an error, submit a support ticket via the support portal. To help customer support determine what block has been placed and why, include in the ticket your Second Life account name and any Second Life accounts that log in from your location.
