I rezzed 2 objects and activated them to "birth" which takes 1 hour. Minutes later I get a messege announcing rolling restart in 5 mins. The objects I rezzed cannot be moved or picked up for 45 mins. I log out and return in an hur to find the 2 objects plus 1 other I had rezzed to be missing. I searched L&F, my parcel, and objects in invtory with no luck finding the objests I was missing. I re-log clearing cache and still no items. I know this is not a new issue but why after al this time does LL not save sims in the 5 mins prior to restarting so this issue does not continually happen. The items had value - possibly significant value and the only response found to this question in wiki and SL answers/blog is -" objects lost under these conditions are lost forever and there is no way to retrieve them." Well of course there is - save sims prior to rolling restarts, and this would not happen. And a response of " you shoulda known better - lesson learned" is not an answer to the question, nor does it even suggest a solution to one of the more common issues in SL. I realize that I could have recorded the objects ID#'s - which I didnt - and that I should have remembered tues rolling restarts and their non copy object appitite - but again I din not. I appreciate the explainations and yes i should have been aware of the issue when I rezzed the objects but i have been away and just dint think about it. I will say that hours later I came back and both lost items were where they had beed before I had "activated' them so all my whining was for naught. I do suggest that LL does know when sims will be restarted - at least 5 mins beforehand from the warning and my though simply was, if they know that much, why cant a save/snapshot be taken of each sim in that 5 mins prior to restart. I dont use this alt often but would like access to it. The e-mail associated with that avi is no longer active and i never updated a new e-mail for it as i did with my main avatar. Is there any way I can verfiy that account to my main acct and access this alt? Any help appreciated. Davik Noe

I updated my billing information on 6-24 but cannot buy L$. The CC used was just updated to new expiration date - why is this taking so long?
