The old xstreet stats would totally do, like sales per week, per item (would be much needed), etc. I don't really care about the feature stats anymore since I haven't featured anything on the new marketplace. IMO you don't get much for your 2,8k linden/month (like some search help - which was totally neat). Agreed - just the basic logical, useful stuff we had on SLX was awesome - number of views and sales per day/week whatever. Those alone allow you to extrapolate all sorts of other stats, eg you can see the effectiveness of any advertising by the change on a certain day, without needing to see what link was taken, etc

Sounds like your standard self-replicating spam object. File an AR from the location of the spamming object and include screenshot. Use live chat help if you can. LL are usually pretty good about clearing them up asap. There's no point in trying to use other scripted devices against them because the scripts inside them are designed to use up all the sim resources, hence the lag, inability to rez attachments, etc. It's not directly affecting your inventory, the sim is just too lagged out for things to work. If objects are coming in from your neighbour's land you can turn off "allow object entry" in your parcel options - at least that stops visual spam on your own parcel. Oh also check the source spam object itself (just trace where all the particles are coming from) - sometimes i've found them set for sale for $0 and you can just buy and then delete.
  3. Picks were useful to see which merchants had to resort to ludicrous gaming to promote their products, and were therefore best avoided.

The single biggest thing LL could do to help with delivery would be to put a message on the checkout page, the same as we had in XStreet, of "Please ensure you are logged in to SL or delivery may fail.". Capped messages are the most common form of delivery failure, before you even get to shopping cart problems. Although with my tinfoil hat on, it's tempting to believe that LL would rather let the transaction go through, and leave the merchant to sort out delivery issues after the fact. While a total redo of the delivery system is a good idea, in practice it's going to be a big job for LL, requiring much testing, etc. Also remember that it would mean a lot of work redoing your listings, organising inventory, etc - again. Are we really up for that again already?
  5. OMG so pleased to hear from you guys about this - it's been driving me mad. I was asking around in my scripting groups and searching the jira for info on this on the weekend and no one else had reported any problems. I spent hours trying to help one of my customers work out problems with this and we couldn't make sense of it. None of her devices in one particular sim would send her emails when offline. Also her object IMs to email wouldn't work from that sim if she was offline. Her devices worked fine from other sims, and the objects I rezzed in her sim worked, but hers still wouldn't. It's very strange. Although from memory she was on one of the unnamed SL server builds, not Magnum. Off to add to jira.

I did a quick check and your names were on the list we submitted to send. Then there is a flaw in your system. - Every time I buy or sell L$ through LindeX Exchange I get email notifications, my offline IMs are delivered properly to email, sales notifications from the marketplace are delivered, Jira notifications, etc etc. yet your email is not to be found in either my spam folder or in-box. 7. Thanks for the info, Brooke. If others are using this as an opportunity to request minor cosmetic changes, may I point out, if you are not already aware, that it has been impossible to leave reviews on marketplace purchases for several weeks now. https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/WEB-3369
  8. OK cool - thanks for the SL object change. Re final migration - what about product whose reviews were lost the first time, but that have had new reviews added on the new site. Are you sure the addition of the old ones won't erase any new reviews since migration? I've had ratings and reviews removed from both old and new products before (yes removed, not 'failed to migrate') And will this fix the problem of the ratings score being 0, despite many old ratings being used to calculate the star rating?
