  1. That's wonderful !! Congrats !! All the best to both of you !!
  2. Decorating a Houseboat with a big open space was a challenge, but I'd love living in a Houseboat like the Windlass in RL !
  3. Last November I was very lucky to get a Houseboat in Sirens Rock, a sim with lots of open water and only 5 Houseboats, with a terrific view of an island with a Lighthouse and a rezz zone ! I usually always have my WL set to noon, however I love the sunset from the top deck
  4. Just caught a nice home in Lostbell, sandy ( which is not for me), there is a Linden pool between the house and the ocean ( where there are Houseboats docked). There is a road on 3 sides with some greenery, all in all a nice location http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Lostbell/74/74/36 Will release it 15 minutes from now
  5. The LP only shows Campers now..... No Houseboats available....... Update : that only lasted 5 minutes.... The Houseboats are back
  6. After re rezzing the home, wait 30 seconds, without touching anything, not even clicking the door.... After 30 secs scripts should working fine. This happened to me too, and allowing some time for the scripts to reset, fixed it.
  7. I finally found the perfect Traditional, which even has a beautiful garden in front of the house plus unblocked Ocean View !
  8. Having quite some experience with online engines, it seems that there are different queues that run independently from each other .
  9. They don't come with a greenhouse but are for sale independently, In the past there was a sculpted version with ivy, but a killer at 8 prims. Later they made a mesh version, i think LI went down to 2 ( without plants). I am not sure where the planter is at the sim, it used of be in front of the Orangerie but they changed the sim completely last time i was there. You can try an area search, the name is : Culprit Old Standing Urn
  10. Thank you Mitch ! The Brick planters are from Culprit and they come empty, I added the plants. The Brick Chimney is from Elusive Designs , you can find it here : https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/E-Linden-Victorian-Homes-Chimney-Pack/18707663
  11. While everyone is waiting for the release of new regions, I discovered how trees can sometimes ruin the best view.... Here before and after pics from a still unnamed region. south of South Haven
  12. This is against the covenant !! This contradicts with the concept of a Houseboat ! It changes the character of the theme and I am sure it will be removed if AR'ed.
  13. My alt will be releasing at 11:20 am SLT a sandy Trad in North Waddling located on a river and next to a huge lake, with Houseboats in the immediate vicinity. Not a bad location, but not what i am looking for. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/North Waddling/93/237/23
  14. One day when I was bored, I decided to redo my Victorian (Verne) which now is closer to how I imagined it .
  15. I caught this one.. and bit later the one next to it...... Pretty peculiar set up......
  16. In addition to that some add on's swallow an enormous amount of prims, which makes furnishing even more difficult... I've seen some with a LI of 70 or even 100.......
  17. I got 4-5 Trads so far in the last 2 hours... all of them with no particular view. All abandons of course. Standing there for 30 min i saw one changing owner 4-5 times, after instant abandons
  18. Actually add on's purchased from the MP or inworld shops are tasteful .. I haven't seen anything that I didn't like so far .... Maybe not necessary my personal taste, but nothing to complain about. What I considered to be super ugly, has always proved to be self made after editing it ... or was made of plywood prims with some ugly texture to serve as privacy screen or parcel divider. It would be sad to ban the majority due to a few who just ignore the rules and want to do things their own ( ugly) way.......
  19. I just got an abandon ... http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Fangor/116/20/23 It's probably back in the pool now
  20. Yesterday I got a very nice beach front parcel in Gilbson, which i abandoned due to a neighbour and their ugly self made add on..... In addition to that, the many palms in a non tropical area gave me one more reason to abandon.
  21. I went to check, but whatever that was, it is gone.... It still shows on the world map though, as it has not been updated yet. Only objects below 400 meter show on the world map. It's possible that someone rezzed something big, with the root prim being on their parcel, which got caught on the world map.
  22. Thank you so much..... I am being called a prim Queen for a reason......
