From other friends, I know this has happened when changing from one model to another. In my experience, it was when abandoning a house; as soon as the name of the parcel changed to 'Linden home', the Doyle turned black. Also, I've landed in a couple of spots with black homes in different models.

Dyna, in case it helps. It has happened to me a lot when abandoning a Victorian, and I always use the Doyle in white. Several times, when abandoning a parcel, it looks like the system was resetting and the house turned black.

@Abnor Mole @Kristin Linden @Tommy Linden, thank you all for your kind replies on both threads. They way I see it, we are all in the same page, we all want Bellisseria to be an amazing place. We are just providing feedback on things we consider could be improved, that is why I don't get it is taken as some personal attack, when it is not, it is simple feedback. I am sure the team at LL is doing an impressive work inworld, and we all respect that. It is just that some areas like communication could be better. Please understand that some of us live outside the US, in different time schedules, and English is not our native language; so we are proposing different approaches, because SL is supposed to be an international world (if that expression makes sense). Companies invest tons of money on setting up focus groups, gathering data... because they understand how key this is to a successful business. Well, that is what we residents are doing here, so the resulting product gets to be even more attractive to us. I used to be an active member of the community, I've even had public spaces, but in the last two months, I've given up two accounts. I don't mean I am leaving, because I have two forever homes, it is just that now Bellisseria, to me, has turned into pixel homes. Abrazos.

Abnor, this is my opinion, but to me, the work done by the Moles has never been an issue. The communication strategy from Linden Lab is, and it doesn't just apply to Bellisseria. There is no clear communication on what is and what is not allowed (because of the many exceptions), what is on the pipeline, the management team's view.... And sorry, uploading content from time to time, chatting inworld through some Belli groups, creating a few posts in a pinned thread, is not working. Everything has to come through official channels, where all residents can have access, and haave an objective neutral approach. Many of the issues we are facing as residents come from a lack of communication from LL.

Evangeline's contribution to Bellisseria goes beyond houses. Linden Lab has just lost an ambassador of one of its key product

That is so sad @Evangeline Ling, you mean so much to Bellisseria. I guess I'll be dismanteling my cafè too... I've been in the corporate world for 20 years, and I've never seen a product with so much potential being managed in such a reactive and defensive way; there is no strategic approach here whatsoever. Bellisseria WAS a community and they have turned it into a bunch of pixel houses.

Try World/Sound Explorer. That should you give you a hint on where the sound is coming from, probably some neighbour has a kitty

Going back to topic: is anyone using a 512 house in a 1024 parcel? I'd love to see how that turns out. I'm trying not to get more homes but that combination is very tempting

Thank you for the info Abnor, but I disagree on this one. A major change would have been creating an A shape roof. That looks like a simple rectangle, and it actually works, you don't even notice it. The addons created for the Trads and Vics are far more visible, and everybody is fine with them. Abrazos.

Same here in Spain, there is no VAT added in that one, that is why I chose the annual payment; otherwise, I'd be paying 21% extra each quarter or month, a total of 36€ /13€
