It was not a Holliday when i emailed LL and it was not the day after get a life its not all about Americans!

Where is it on a Linden lab or SL Website ^^ 3rd party sites are nothing and as i said my thread was about the non English speakers and LL not communicating with them!!!!! All those sites copy info that was past out lol so if i set up a blog and post BS its fact is it?

A very large land barron lost 26 renters on day one of the unofficial announcement and i know personaly of several creators closing shop and dumping land

On the 2nd of this month i sent Linden Lab an email:- Dear sir, With reference to the unofficial news that has been spread by the Ceo of Linden Lab pertaining to the new virtual world that Linden Lab intend on building, I would ask as to why Linden lab have yet to announce this on their own website i.e. the Second Life blog!My main concern is while i am English and I obviously speak English, a large proportion of Second Life residents don't and there is growing confusion amongst the non English speaking community in Second Life!I would ask Linden Lab to actually make an official announcement via the blog with some facts if possible so at least people can translate it! Regards Phoebe Avro As of yet I have no reply! and NO OFFICIAL announcement on the blog (btw the LL spell checker thinks the word 'reply' is an error ^^ ) It's now obvious that Linden Lab knows the CEO has made an almighty cockup and is wondering what to do next! In typical LL style they will hide hoping it will go away but the damage is done and if LL don't act soon the economy will dive, it already is but it will gain momentum in the coming months

If they closed SL going back on the statment that that they wont it will be the death null of LL! But at least they have some crappy apps to fall back on!

Mony I will say one thing I have said before^^ 'Amateurs' LL don't have a clue as to what they are doing the CEO will get the kick when the investors realise their income has dropped because the CEO has destabilised the Sl economy! In another thread I stated I have emailed LL asking why they have not made an official statement on the blog since many SL residents don't speak English and at least if it was on the blog they could translate the text, over a 3rd of SL residents are from non English speaking counties! and LL have totally ignored them! That alone says a lot about LL does it not!

my second reply ^^ More talk by LL staff at 3rd party sites but still no blog post! my opinion of LL was low before this almighty cockup and LL continue to act like complete amateurs with regards to the way they run a business! Quite astounding! People want to run to the so called better life, LL have a track record of contempt for SL residents they don't like you they just want your cash they do what others have done in the past they chase the new trendy customers while ignoring their old faithfull customers, yes me and you! There is a story here Orange as an ISP did this exact same thing in the UK and you wanna know what happened? They lost 60,000 customers in 12 months! I was one of those 60,000!

Oz go buy some fffing shoes and a skin etc to look like a noob in the position you keep! get a damn SL^^

Most of LL are tolal sl idiots bar say Torley linden who is very cool, I vote Torley as CEO though i am sure he would run if offered the job ^^

And yet LL are still to announce SL2 on the SL website, I find this very strange! LL running around 3rd party sites giving out info but not on the site they own i.e the SL Blog Edit to add I think I will have to email LL direct to ask why they have not announced this on the blog since many people in SL don't speak English and there is growing confusion within the non English community in SL! edit to add, I have now emailed Linden Lab Direct with my concerns regarding this issue and i await a reply^^

One thing i find very strange is if you believe LL figures on new residents joining SL, what is it about 80,000 a month? why does the number of people online even at peak times never goes up it rarely goes over 56,000! 80,000 x 12 months = 960.000, but there are still under 60,000 logged in at peak times there were 50,000 online in early 2008

All no mod note cards should not be able to be read if pulled from an object only no mod trans does that at the moment and its a royal pain if you use a note card to put sound uuids in for a script to read on a copy object Another perms flag maybe like no read on next owner

I feel the current LL viewer is one of the reasons many new residents don't stay in sl, I have had to learn a lot of new software in my time working for companies some easier and some harder but the worst 'program' by far i have ever seen is the LL viewer its not intuitive and its clunky

The viewer will be all and end all, if its not 100% right and LL should not be asking us whats great agout TPV's they should be testing them out! Put it this way if another company started a new fantastic world next week dont you think LL staff would go look see what they had and check out the viewer if any? so why dont they know whats the alternative viewers offer i would want to know? one word "arrogance"

Do LL not still have an office in Holland they used to if memory serves me right?

The main crippling effect of the ill thought out TOS changes are that creators can no longer buy and use content from some websites that used to allow content to be used in SL!

Gavin this is not a direct reply to you, its general since you were the last one to post! I can't see many content creators even bothering to do updates of content and give it to old customers, i also own a Christmas store in sl that's only open for about 3 months a year and i never noted how many customers i had last year but in previous years I have had about 8000 individual customers a year the logistics alone would keep me busy for a year to sort that mess out! let alone the customers of my main business I can see all creators reselling content if it can be converted for use in sl2 even the full perm stuff I for one have no plans on moving I may set up something in sl2 maybe, but it takes a lot to impress me^^ One good thing is a lot migrate then maybe it wont be so laggy in SL come Friday and the weekend, group chat may work^^

I forgot that and i use Singularity too ^^

ive got the second inv and downloaded the latest version from my account its saving a whole mesh house as i type this seems to be working ok

Does that program still work? I payed for the full version years ago and last time i tried to install it on windows 7 it would not even install!
