    That was not his point and you know that. He adresses quite well the problem that a certain group in here always takes discussions into leftist propaganda and paint everyone else, moderate leftist and moderates in general, with an extreme right wing - brush. It' s really an issue and Alwin points it out correctly. This thread is an example of that.

    Being either extreme left or extreme right on the political scope says absolutely nothing at all about being right or wrong. It only proves your stance on politics is extreme. No matter how you dress it up.

    Dat mag je best vinden, maar zo is Lindenlab nou eenmaal niet gestructureerd en vandaar dat een moderator je het voorgaande advies gaf je verzoek bij de juiste afdeling voor ondersteuning van jouw probleem aan te kaarten. Dit is simpelweg niet de juiste plek en je verzoek zal hier onbeantwoord en onbehandeld blijven. Uiteindelijk zul je zelf het meeste baat hebben over de kleine drempel van het aanmaken van een ticket heen te stappen.

    Not going for a full fledged discussion here : it apparantly was imperative to chase him. I don't want the officers hanged or paid in kind. I do find they need to be held accountable. It remains unjustifiable to me to kill him just like this. That's a problem with attitude one cannot subscribe to the victim in case, because that's what he is now. A mere victim of excessive force that was out of control. Again .. the chief of police was afaik fully aware of the graveness of this situation. We'll hear more about this.

    I think I rather pursue the opinion of the Chief of Akron's Police Deparment the officers responsible will need to account for every bullet they fired. The (single) gunshot fired by the perpetrator is assumed and not yet confirmed. I understand shooting in self-defense. I have no compassion for a lynching mob. I cannot see any justification so far for this example of unneccesary excessive force during apprehension. Not once did the officers have a need to take cover.

    He was unarmed. He was on the run, chased and subsequently excecuted on the spot. That is a law enforcement not to fear or set onto your fellow human being ? For any kind of perceived crime ? Sorry. Still a sound no from me.

    Yeah, whole clips are fired at him from several directions, as he stopped running and turned towards the officers. He tried. He failed. He died. Unarmed.

    I was referring to and still am shocked by the apprehension of Jayland Walker and the release of the body-cam footage very recently. Nothing personal, but I'd not call your cops on anybody. I don't like thieves either and violent ones especially not, but I'm still baffled how this running perpetrator was approached and dealt with. Peeve : excessive force

    I wouldn't if I'd reside in Akron ... or anywhere else where full clips by multiple officers are unleashed on mere apprehension. Major peeve : triggerhappyness

    Dan, nogmaals, zoals Quartz Mole het al eerder heeft voorgesteld : maak een support-ticket aan als 'Gast' ( dus niet als Ufo ) en leg in die ticket nogmaals uit dat het email-adres van je specifieke account is gewijzigd en zolang dat niet is aangepast het onmogelijk voor je is om te partneren. Geef aan dat je ondersteuning hiervoor wenst. Waarschijnlijk zul je wel op hun verzoek vragen over je account moeten beantwoorden of jezelf moeten identificeren als eigenaar van het account indien er naar wordt gevraagd. Hier en vanuit dit forum zul je niet verder geholpen kunnen worden met jouw probleem.

    I understand. I agree any last moment spent together with dying loved ones should be respectful and discrete. Yet I'd ask of you to bear in mind, everytime you feel disgusted by this breach of sensitivity by others and since we all face death onetime, any recorded memory, however clumsily taken, might help the living coping with it better.
