    Maxed out is how I run day to day. I usually don't touch my settings, unless I have to. I couldn't even change my settings, because I kept stuttering so badly.

    I will PM you. I haven't run into something crazy like that until last night. I DO run around SL with every slider fully cranked to the right, and at full ultra. My frame rates are fine usually, even at crowded shopping events. Either way, I don't like the thought of how this is affecting people with older PC's if my shiny new PC could get bogged down!!! I run at 1920 x1080 because a lot of my programs are older, and the fonts are too small at 4K, even using a 55"TV as a monitor.

    I totally agree with you. PBR has really slowed things down. I was at a blues club with Cinny last night, and my frame rate was 2FPM. That's right, 2 FRAMES PER MINUTE!!! It was so bad, she thought I had fallen asleep on her!!! This is on a new Tower I just built with a Ryzen 9 7950 X3D, and an RTX 4070 ( I usually get between 18 and 80 FPS elsewhere with everything maxed out)!!! I was at the same blues club with her pre-PBR, running an Acer Nitro 5 low end gaming laptop running everything maxed out and getting 10 FPS!!! Obviously, a lot of factors affect frame rate, but it shouldn't slow down to THAT degree!!! I never got the chance to lower my settings though. We didn't notice the time, and had to log off quickly. I DO think a lot of the issues will get worked out, but I think lower end PC's will still struggle with PBR.

    It isn't 2048x2048. It's two 1024 textures. 2048 would be four 1024 textures. 2K has 4x the resolution of 1024.

    I had an issue changing settings in Substance Painter to output both Blinn-Phong, and then PBR. The initial setting dictates the output, from what I've found. Maybe I should try loading a PBR textured object I create with the setting set to Blinn-Phong, and see if that works. If it works, then it's very easy.

    Did you cancel a paid subscription, or delete your account? If you deleted your account, then obviosly SL isn't important enough to you to wait out the bug fixes. The previous non PBR version of FS DOES work fine on a MAC, and it still works.

    Well,Cinny, the little B that she is, showed me a LaraX swimsuit she got for an alt last night (first pic). And THEN she gyazo'd me some wet hair. She knew it would get me going!!! Grrr...It WAS shopping time!!!
