  1. Just in time for the holidays, a nice flat 4096 parcel for you to build a winter getaway. Priced to sell at $7899L http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dalarna/5/226/100
  2. Tier and land are 2 separate things. If you donate 1024 tier to a group, including the %10 bonus tier a group gets, the group can then own 1126 worth of land. If you donate 1500 tier to the group, the group can own 1650 land. The %10 bonus works for any amount of tier donated but you can only buy tier in 1024, 2048, 4096, etc. chunks. You can donate any amount of tier you own to a group and they will get a %10 bonus tier on that amount.
  3. 1024 plus %10 so about 1126sm I think. I sux at maths though so that may not be right.
  4. "That's not what I asked you. Aren't you listening to me?!" Nice try though....hahahaha
  5. Normally, this question is a trap. Guys, if your wife/girlfriend ever asks you this, there is no right answer and you'll be in trouble no matter what you say. LOL That being said, I'll say 53....(ducks)
  6. I celebrate Festivus instead and welcome people to my house to air their grievances. I will have an aluminum pole in my window for all to see.
  7. That's been happening to me for the last week or so as well. I found that if you right click on the thing, it appears.
  8. The edges will never be straight (90 degrees) but you can get it close. It there are gaps around the edges of the house, you can cover that with shrubs or other vegetation. Sometimes I'll sink the build into the ground where I want it then terraform down until you cant see the ground poking through the walls and floor.
  9. This parcel is tucked away and almost hidden. 1x protected on route 9. Perfect for that secret location that nobody knows about. Mostly furnished mobile home and shop can be used as long as you want. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Jumeoni/106/163/50
  10. I think it was a pretty cool event. It got people out and about and visiting other places. I personally had a pretty good time. I wasn't really trying to get the most candies as I just didn't have time for that but I had fun walking/flying around and seeing all the cool builds people have done. I got a lot of decorating ideas, got on a few ban lists, got booted off parcels and TP'd home, got about 320 pieces of candy, and met a lot of cool people. Overall, it was a pretty well rounded event.
  11. Yeah, it's looking pretty grim around there. Parts of the creek are gone as are all the roads and trees. Not sure what I'm going to do with my parcel there.
  12. Small house on route 10. Almost empty sim. The house and all landscaping will transfer ownership to you upon sale. Part of the Operation Mainland Project. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Craggen Maw/121/144/35
  13. Oh man....sorry about that.....here is the slurl: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Craggen Maw/177/80/35
  14. Quiet country parcel on a virtually empty sim. No lag at all. 1024sm for $3500. The house and all the landscaping will transfer to you upon sale. Part of the Operation Mainland Project. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Craggen Maw/177/80/35
  15. If you don't want people on your property, don't put out a freakin candy bucket! It's that simple people.
  16. I agree. I have been flying search patterns over Belli looking for buckets and have been insta TP'd home and banned 3 times so far. It totally ruins my search pattern and I have to start all over. Then there's the ones that boot you in 1 to 15 seconds. Most of the time that's not enough for things to rez so I can figure out where the bucket is and/or get out of there before being booted. It must be a funny joke to them to put out a bucket then boot people that try to get a candy from it.
  17. Price reduced to $3000L. The house and all the landscaping will become yours upon sale.
  18. Forgot to mention, it's a 1024sm parcel.
  19. Yeah, the decorations are temporary. It's not "ruining" the neighborhood. People are having a little fun for a couple weeks. I think it's pretty cool to see people having a little fun in the neighborhood.
  20. No problem. I hope I didn't confuse you more than you were already....LOL If you need more help, reach out here or in-world and I'll be happy to help you out.
  21. Yes you can get the land back. Just sell the land back to yourself. Make sure you have the tier personally covered first though because if you own more land than you have tier, even if for only a minute or two, you'll be charged for a months worth of the next tier level. The group has a couple days leeway in this in that a group can own more land than it has tier for about 48 hours before LL will charge you for it. Personal tier levels do not have this leeway. If you want that 1024 back from the group, first remove a 1024 tier contribution from the group then sell the land back to yourself.
  22. I'm just going to wait it out as that 1 little parcel doesn't mean much to me in the grand scheme of things. I bought it because I liked the area and the premise behind designing it and it was super cheap. I guess I know why now. There are a few landscaping issues on mine that is rubbing up against my OCD so if the area gets all jacked up and I have to re-do it, that's good for me.
  23. Bummer. I just bought a parcel right in the middle of all this....
  24. Let me see if I can explain it. It's not as hard as it seems. When you go premium, you get an allowance of 1024sm of land. You can get a Linden home or use it on 1024sm of land on the mainland. A group can also own land but the members of that group have to donate some or all of that 1024sm to the group. That is called "tier" As long as the group has enough tier donated by it's members, it can own that much land. When you deed land to a group, you are essentially giving your land to the group. When deeding land to a group there is a checkbox you can tick that says use deed as contribution or something like that. That means you are giving that land and tier to the group. A group also get a %10 land bonus which means the group gets %10 more tier than is actually donated by it's members so if you donate 1024 to the group, the group actually gets 1126 sm worth of tier.
