Hi. You'll need time to learn how to put together your avatar. You can buy for example head and body from one sim - Lelutka has heads and they recommend bodies. Bur you should buy hair, clothes and if you want later skin too (for looking better). If you know how things work may be at least 2 hours, but if you don't - then much more. So there's no short way to this. Good luck.

Girls, I got the head and Last night I tried it. I don't like it, it's not my type at all. I never had a head from Catwa, my first was Erin from Lelutka and then Lily, which is amazing head. So share your opinion, do you like it?

Hi, if you don't want to spend money on your avatar, you can choose Ebody free version(has classic and curvy version). I think you can't find it in the marketplace, so you have to visit their inworld store. If you want to spend some lindens then I recommend you the Maitreya body, which is inworld only. Don't buy shapes - this is not a body, just a shape for specific body. With specific body there are clothes and shoes - the slink shoes can be used with the Ebody. Some clothes for Maitreya fit the Ebody classic. I was very confused with these things when started with meshes. Try demos and don't buy things you don't understand. Good luck.

We all have been newbies. I've been in sl from 2010 I think with another profile. When I got back it all seemed different. The first thing I did was to take a free mesh body which was Ebody. I learned how to find clothes which was very hard thing to do (I thought it was impossible). After I thought I handle it, I make the second step - to buy the body. Which was a mistakes, I should do my researches better. After the body was the head. I had no one to tell me what and how to do. And all the writings about mesh semeed like some thing I could never undarstand. But you should try and test things, not only read. Reading is a good thing, but if you don't undarstand what you read there's no point. So try and try and try. Then all will make sense. Good luck.

The question is why you're looking for information about mesh bodies since you're happy with classic. My personal opinion is that mesh looks more realistic and beautiful. And yes, may be i'm snob about that, but I have just 1 friend with classic avatar, and I gave up to convince him to get mesh body. Go on like you feel it.

I would suggeat the same as Laurel Aurelia - to try to use the dated version of the head. It must says Lelutka Skyler (dated). After the update my Erin head didn't work with my shape because obviously the shape had no update.
