I’ve been delving through the marketplace and visiting many of the home furnishing stores in SL and it seems like quality kitchen selection is really limited. Many of my favorite designers don’t even have them, or only have country, southern, or retro style ones.Typically with white cabinets. I wonder why this is the case, especially with all the interest in the new Linden homes. Personally I’m looking for a kitchen with darker wood cabinets. I’d like the textures to be decent and sink and stove burners to have some detail. I am not interested in “adult” animations. And I would like to find something that is around $L1000 or less...there are at least some nice quality kitchens with white cabinets in that range. And of course modular so I can fit the pieces into a Linden home. Any ideas?

There are some nice add-ons for the houseboats too.

Along those lines, I’ve been doing a lot of SL home and garden shopping. Might take the interest and create a blog or similar, after some life events get handled.

It’s more difficult to tell with the limits on auto refresh...and I’m only doing manual refresh because the iOS app that did auto-refresh with keyword notification had a maximum interval of 30 sec. So I easily could have missed one. I’ve got something different to try on Wednesday. Friday is pretty much out because of, well, activities in the real world.

Are today’s releases gone?

Maybe the Lindens actually listened to the complaints about their timing discriminating against people working normal business hours in the Western Hemisphere, and will release this evening?

I think it’s possible that your first load “counts.” So your auto-refresh can’t start less than a minute before your initial page load?

I finally got my auto refresh working on Chrome. I had to set it to a random interval between 1 and 1 1/2 minutes. It only "triggered" twice for me this weekend, and both times I was not at the computer.

Congrats to you. Right now, with the auto refresh limited to intervals greater than one minute, and the regions releasing during Western Hemisphere business hours, the chances of getting a home are minimal for those who work normal business hours in the US. And who has the time and patience to monitor the auto-refresh closely during all their non-work hours? It truly has just come down to a rare chance.

This is not a lottery. This is more like bidding in a very active, confusing auction.

In my opinion, a more orderly method would diffuse anger. People would likely still be grumpy, but with an orderly process, you don’t need to do anything further after the signup. This would relieve anxiety and reduce the obsessiveness. Just my opinion. And I don’t buy the hidden issues. I have demonstrated that a random drawing isn’t a big project and a waiting list would only require a few hours of a Linden’s time each week to manage.

That’s the error page I got yesterday. I just triggered the refresh error today. The time limit is 10 refreshes every 10 minutes.

Aren’t all of us premium members paying their salaries?

Users are “only” allowed to abandon 5x a day? This is somehow a problem?

Not many. The whole thing was over in about a minute or less.

Yeah, I’m a bit bitter but it’s honestly not worth all that. Instead, I will go home tonight, sip a glass of wine, work on a creative project and watch some fluffy KDrama episodes. The virtual world won’t see any of my $L tonight.

This is really frustrating...four times I got to the “please wait while we prepare your Linden Home” screen and four times the next screen said my selection was sold out

I have been running two iOS devices, one on 4G LTE and the other on cable internet. Haven’t seen anything other than one or two. And my iPhone XR which has been plugged in to power most of the day is nearly dead

Saw one at that time. So it seems there has not been a release yet? Or do they release one or two at a time? If that’s the case I might as well just quit and dump premium for a while. I’ve lost two so far today because I was on mobile and they were each gone by the time I clicked the checkbox and hit the last button.
