All I can add to what's been said, is that the PP is more than I would pay right now. I love my LL houseboat, but in the last few weeks, a lot of the houseboats around mine have emptied. Don't know whether this is because people are moving to some of the newer locations, or if there's a reduction of premium subscribers.

Staying briefly off topic, check out quantum immortality if you want to investigate a seemingly new theory with more unknowns than knowns. Some might say "half baked".

I've been influenced into doing the monthlies. I do like walking around though like real shopping. And I'm picky so don't spend too much. I also scope MP and bang things in my favourites as a pending drawer, like already mentioned above. That works well. But my danger zone is when I just reloaded, and get a spending frenzy.
Sometimes it just has to be.

I don't hide my alts, but here's the thing. It's hard to remember who I was when I met whoever. And here's the other thing, if somebody tells me they have an alt, I think WOA!!!, and tomorrow I might not even recall that convo. And anyway, I hunt alone, or with an alt, and that's how it will stay. So it doesn't matter who is who, or who I was. Every day is a new day!

They might figure it out if your main is on their friends list. But then, friends lists sometimes blip.
Alts are a lot of fun. Just making one is addictive. Then going out there and exploring is great fun.

Hereabouts we have a saying.
"I can't be arsed" Imagine Joanna Lumley saying it.
I use block here because I don't have the time or patience to read through threads which ultimately go nowhere.
I haven't checked my list lately but there are maybe 14 listed. I don't miss that input, and rarely open up a blocked post.
I used to love the forums when I first got started, but the general trend I've seen even over my short 4 years has pushed me away. I miss what it was then, but I really don't bother with it much now.

I dropped by occasionally because it was never "full". There must have been few restrictions on numbers because it was always packed.
Whereas since Senz beach closed, the other few popular beaches are often full. The remaining beaches I call at are usually empty.

At the beginning of May I've been here for four years. Nothing remarkable about that compared to some.
But here's my summary of what I've found:
Sims/locations vanish. Even the popular ones. Others prevail but at the times I explore are often deserted. Or as noted above, crowded and spam filled local chat.
Friends vanish. Often without a word.
Friending someone too fast almost always fails after a few days.
Friendships are challenging when timezones differ, and sometimes even when they don't. I'm SLT+8. I'm never in world after 12noon SLT. Nor do I get in world Tuesdays or Wednesdays. So I feel like I miss out on the afternoon and evening goings on in standard SLTime.
At the same time I'm a lone wolf really, so none of this matters much. I use Discord to gossip with my close family and that is a big part of my SL, because I can do that throughout my day.

A few years ago I had an archive of my professional photos (NOT porn) on Photobucket. Suddenly Photobucket changed the terms and conditions, and unless you paid the subscription, photos on Photobucket could no longer be linked to outside sites. So they held photos to ransom. I seem to recall they demanded around £70 per year.
Anyway I transferred my photo archive to a small independant provider, and deleted every one of my photos on Photobucket. I think the business model planned didn't work out and nowadays you don't hear much about Photobucket.
This time around, I'm currently flickr pro and almost all my images are safe, so it doesn't really impact much on me either way.
