Another new combination using my favourite Blueberry Tall Fall pants!!! Plus some new hair........ The platforms are a bit extreme, but you know how it is............ we have a saying here.........."monkey see, monkey want"........and that monkey is me.

Final touches (yeah really?) to my Simone head. Some light mascara, eye shadow and lipstick................. Oh and I bagged some green eyes yesterday.....haha.

Rhonda!!!!!!! *wags finger* Of course I've considered skins........... I need to wait at least a few days though. Hehe. Thank you for the complements! You wouldn't believe the efforts involved. Or maybe you would. I've sorted the mascara but still playing with lipstick and eye shadows. Skin may be the last big hurdle.......or maybe not. I'm absolutely delighted how Simone has captured some of my look and I'll drop in on the forum hangout when I get the chance in case anybody would like a closer look. ? Without all your help and encouragement I wouldn't have this look after ten weeks in SL and I really do appreciate that. ???

I tried three Catwa demos but found them harder to modify than the Lelutkas, so gave up.

Right girls, I have something to show you! *excited laugh*...... Simone has come good. Here she is - no make up yet, I need a few more days to experiment and so on, but I'm as thrilled as I was with my Lara body............................ More thrilled, as it seemed like an impossible mountain to climb. I've gone a skin shade lighter, and blue eyes for the moment. They just look better.................. See what you think!

I was out shopping and came across this Aston Martin......... No sign of Bond. I hung around a while..............

Nice look Ceka. I've just given up on the Catwas. All three were similar, and nowhere near as good as Simone.................... Breaking News........ I've purchased Simone.........now to start looking at skins and make up.............. It never ends does it? hehe

I'm moving a lot closer to Simone today, although May is a very close contender. I've done a complete rejig of both, this time starting with the default settings, and they both look better for that. I need to get the three Catwas tested, but already I'm becoming a Lelutka whore............. I can feel it in my bentos.... haha. I tried green eyes initially, more like my RL colour, but have grown attached to the big brown eyes of my system Avi...... Here's Simone again..........

My last post for today. Three Catwas to do as soon as possible. I tried one of the Mayreals but I've been spoiled by these Lelutkas............so didn't bother in the end. I have a rival for Simone, and it's May.............. They are so close, it will be difficult to chose. First another image of Simone, then two of May............. I wonder if the Catwas will be as good?

This one is Greer. Better than Spencer but no match for Simone........ The quest goes on............One more Lelutka then three Catwas!!!! I hope somebody finds this helpful!!!! I certainly am.................... My old face is beginning to look...............well, ordinary, after this crowd..............hehe.

And now for Spencer............ Spencer is cute, but I struggled to get the lips as I wanted them. She looks ever so slightly sad, melancholy, or miserable............. So Simone is still my front runner.........

Wow and more Wows!!! In the words of (maybe) Gene Roddenberry.......... "We have found our Captain"............ Crikey I've spent the last hour on the sliders with Simone............... last night I raided Lelutka and took three more demos. Simone didn't look that promising, but as some of you said, the head looks very different once you get sliding stuff about............... Anyway I'll carry on testing all the others, and post the images, because, you know, it might help those who are following my progress in this.......... Here she is................................ I'm so pleased with this one, you wouldn't believe how pleased I am.......... (gush gush)..........................

Oh wow..................... The unknown unknown gets me every time......................haha But I'm ever so grateful for all this info. I've just grabbed half an hour and got three more Lelutka demos. I do like them........ Does Glam affair have an in-world store??? Time for bed and more dreaming about mesh heads.............. Hi Janet. Well, they say that practice makes perfect!!! haha! I love the matching skin tone with this head, and I'm almost convinced. The whole thing is lovely, the HUD is easy to navigate, and the look is almost right. It's just those hairy caterpillars on the brow. Maybe I can buy something to cover them. It was mentioned earlier in this post by angeoco..... It's just another complication!!! Oh and I have another five head demo's to get through......................don't know how I'll get the time away from RL, but needs must...

Another hour spent on Chloe and the results are good. Still not sure about those brows though. Can't get them any less obvious although at least they are blonde! See what you think - compare to image 3 in my last post........

Here's an update............ I found an hour this morning and started out with the two Lelutka demos, Cate and Chloe. The HUD is amazing, and I quickly discovered that Chloe was closer to what I want than Cate, so I spent more time on Chloe. The skin match is excellent. It's worth mentioning that when you wear the new head, it adopts the slider values in place, so looks terrible first off........ The images which follow are just for a guide. The first is my current look, and what I'm broadly aiming for. The second is Cate - not too much time spent on Cate and I didn't match the skin. Both Lelukas have heavy eyebrows, can these be edited? I couldn't see how................ Cate does look a bit 'blokey' set up like this......not a great look. They both look similar in the images, but Chloe is softer and I know I can work on her. So quite a promising start, and I'm gaining confidence rapidly. Best advice so far? Write down all the slider numbers for your number 1 look, then you can easily restore. I can't remember who said this, but that is definitely a top tip. Tomorrow I can work a few more demos...........

I've had a really good day today in the malls...... After trying out the hair demos, I ended up buying more than I planned.......*coughs*..........nine in total. Is there a cure for this affliction? So I'm still waiting for a clear time slot to try my demo heads.......three Catwas, two Lelutkas, and two from Mayreal. Not a brand I've heard of, but close to the look I'm after. You know, after a couple of days in-world at the beginning I didn't know if it was for me..................................... Then I found the marketplace and it started to make sense. But I didn't really expect the SL experience to become so much fun. And so addictive........... I spend time in RL looking forward to returning, and planning my next big thing. It's really lovely!!! I hope it lasts!!

Well, I did try to go shopping yesterday but ended up chatting instead of shopping.............. But today was different! There's a football match on now so not many guys out there wanting to chat. So I've done the rounds and got hold of maybe half a dozen demos with nearly that many demo hairs..... Once I get started....... The animation thing is a good point, but that for me will have to come later. The look is far more important to me than the available animations. In fact I'm still not that happy with my body animations, but that can wait in the list of things to sort out. Mesh Body Addicts has been a huge help......................... So now I need some time free from RL interruptions to make a start..............................tick tock tick tock........ So watch this space..........

Thanks all for the advice so far. Yeah it looks like a lot of fun messing with the demo's. I'll need to find a nice quiet slot somewhere in RL (no interruptions) so that I can do this properly. I'm really looking forward to the change. The change from a system body to a mesh body was incredible, and a lot easier in the end than I expected!!!

OK, me yet again. So, I've had a few days to surf the forums, and I've been absorbing all the Avi images in the vanity threads.................. Oh wow........you girls are a really bad influence on me. I'm happy with my look, and even if I go mesh, I would like to try to keep the look, but some of these mesh faces are soooo gorgeous, that it's starting to pull at me............. I can see that there will be lots of fun playing with "the look"... I have the landmarks for CATWA and Esode, but you talk of others. Do the other sellers have in world malls? If so can somebody post the landmarks please. Is it then as easy as bu a head eg CATWA, buy a skin eg Esode, and job done??? Nothing has been that easy so far..........

I've been away for a week without in-world access.... but the benefit was that I could check out the forums on my phone when I got the chance!! And I've really enjoyed looking at the forums........... Anyway, here are a few more of my clubbing outfits. I'm only really buying stuff I would have in RL, although here it's always shorter, tighter, and more daring!!! The first image is my "go anywhere" outfit The top is Maitreya Lisbon in white. The jeans are Blueberry, and I have the fat pack but I simply love the orangey-peach colour!! Shoes are Scandalize NikiHeels......... (I'm beginning to sound like an expert)....hehe. The next image is my hot (weather) summer outfit.... The dress is Blueberry Rylal, shoes are Scandalize NikiHeels (again!). I love red, orange and yellow, so the Rylal dress is perfect!!! There's a fatpack but this is the only one I really like. The third image was my first proper clubbing outfit and this dress looked good on my system Avi. The dress is [hh[ Gracie, and the shoes, which I love, are [hh] Cindy Heels. The HUDs allow lots of colour changes, but I like green or white the best............. Finally my second ever clubbing outfit, which also looked good on my system Avi. This dress has a plunge back down to the waist. I've worn it in red and black on my old Avi, but on the mesh body, for some reason, pink looks the best. The dress is SHEY - Siona, and the shoes are in my favourites list .... [SHEBA] Alice Heels. I'm really getting the hang of this, but I will be making a separate post about mesh heads.................*whistles*..........
