  1. Back with the simplest kind of photos, selfies
  2. I beg to differ, Scy. Observe. Jokes aside, this was intentionally produced by a friend of mine to be this hideous But as everyone in the thread already pointed out, there are no "bad" photos. Art in all it's forms is matter of perspective, for some it can be true work of art and for others... well... As far as "liking" photos goes, I feel it's now more about how many know you rather than how many appreciate your artistic skill. If you are all over the forums interacting with everyone there's a high chance those people will interact back and essentially give you thumbs up. If you've dabbled long enough with the different viewers and what they are capable of, it's fairly easy to tell if the photo is raw shot or edited. Usually by the shading or lights. As far as editing goes, one can spend 10 minutes in photoshop and do lovely edit or spend hours just adding depth to an image. And as quite few photographers I see on my flickr feed these days - #nophotoshop, #unedited, #noreshade Then you zoom and you see specific areas blurred, sharpened, bokeh effects, perfect shadow rendering and these very minor cuts on the skin where different parts come together magically removed. 3. After 40 hours of roaming around Hogwarts and still able to find new hidden rooms and passages
  4. You can try just saving them in notepad, or notepad++, or sticky notes, or even create excel spreadsheet. The way you save the links for later doesn't have to be directly related to SL.
  5. If you're not script savvy you can try this. It does exactly what you're looking for https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/KTC-Camera-director-HUD/7729336
  6. I like to think that if someone is able to copy you, that means your look is not unique enough. A person may be able to copy your outfit, hairstyle and possibly some accessories, but they cannot copy your body and face shape, the appliers on your body or your AO. It's those little things that can make our avatars unique just like each of us is. I have very unique look inworld that defines who I am and and crystal blue eyes that from all my time here I have met only one other person that had them, while I have seen many people wear similar outfits as I have, not a single one has attempted to copycat me and succeeded.
  7. Particularly proud of this one, some heavy editing was done on it.
  8. Once again someone very, very... very! Recently inspired me with their work on a topic that is... interesting, she's quite the fatale even thou others don't believe her to be. But that only means she will be even more successful in her endeavours. You know who you are
  9. Craziest buddy I met in the most random of ways, I adore her to death
  10. I love the idea of it! While Backdrop City has one of the largest variety of backdrops and is treasure trove for photographers or anyone interested in taking pics it doesn't have a community like some other photo orientated places around the grid. In another thread I mentioned someone of the most popular places for photos which also have community formed around them, although they don't have designated place where people get together and hang out. Sunny's Photo Studio and it's group(you're required to join to group to use the sim) has fairly active community. Another and my personal favourite is Naturally Naughty Photo(don't mind the name ) in my opinion is most active and engaging photography community I know of where's always some discussion going in the group chat. The moderators are wonderful people and very respectful towards anyone. They used to even themed contests for fun by choosing specific backdrop model and pose within the sim and having people come over and test their skills.
  11. Last I checked I was at roughly about 32k, from which around 5k are poses for photography and and around 2k of various backdrops and other similar components That's nothing compared to my sister who has over 200k
