That may be the only thing a salesman tried to warn me about before I bought. But hey, I was broke and it was like $299. Except SL did this to it. Yeah, a Dell with a GT 240 was an upgrade from an emachine. Then I got with my husband, then boyfriend and he built me a PC that could handle more than one thing and I could actually SEE SL lol

I know, I'm just laughing because I had an emachine back when I started SL and had a hard time running SL back then.

Yeah, the first thing I thought...after checking the date of the OP was what would they advertise it as? It's not really a game. You can build and make...stuff It's not social media It's not really easy to use It doesn't use any of the trendy buzzwords like Blockchain and NFT That's a hard sell for the masses.

I still go to events and Inworld stores and buy things at full price. I do love a good sale though! What weekend sales are good for to me are things I might’ve missed out on for whatever reason. Mainly I end up buying little Knick knacks and doodads and accessories like earrings, cups of coffee, rings and body chains. I’ll buy clothes, but it’s usually those things I was on the fence about buying when it was full price. They both have a place for me.

I think she was talking about using the butt deformer on Belleza Classic, not Maitreya. No? I still haven't played with the classic, but from what she showed the boobs got pretty small and the butt got pretty flat to me.

Wasn't it already lumpy and weird? I kid, I kid...well mostly. It's how the body is rigged. Certain deformers do unexpected things with certain bodies. It's best to demo them before you buy.

If I were to "leave" SL, I'd leave my stuff up, maybe provide a little customer support and log on periodically to collect my money too. I'm pretty sure people are still buying it and using it. I don't want to get any more gossipy than that. I don't think she's doing anything else with Omega anymore though.

I’m pretty sure the creator of Omega left SL. They probably wouldn’t be able to do Omega even if they wanted to. Probably would be a bad idea to slap unsupported scripts into a body.

30 is actually pretty good. Most bodies, the breasts will deform around 50. I think Ebody will deform around 40 and they get pretty small. Expecting to go from breasts to no breasts isn’t very realistic because mesh and rigging doesn’t work that way.

I'm sorry that happened to you OP. It sucks when someone comes along and ruins hard work just for LOL'z. Also, some of the responses do not pass the vibe check.

It’s the season (thank god). We’re finally out of the bikini/bootie short/tank top season. Clothes get more interesting. I’m sure someone will come along with a bikini or do an update. But I feel you! A bikini would be nice!

Meh, people that don't want the body are going to find a reason not to like the body no matter what you say. I guess its more fun to point out things (even if it's logically or factually flawed) than to say "Not for me" and go about their day. Whatever you come up with, someone's going to come along and say "But does it bake cookies? Not interested!" It's good, but not without flaws (but no body is perfect) people on the discord like it. It will be successful, this forum gon do it's forum thing anyway.

Ok, not gonna lie. I was kinda starting to think Freya and Curvy was the same thing and I was a little scared to compare. If they were, that would've irked the hell out of me. They're not! I'm happy to report...curvy is noticeably different. I'm wearing GenX clothes, same shape, so you can see the difference. So someone asked for a side by side comparison (well...I don't feel like photoshopping them together) here ya go! The breasts are fuller on Curvy, the legs and butt are thicker. I had to double check to make sure I wasn't wearing Isis by mistake.

Got some more outfits, so I'm willing to play around with it more. Now I can change clothes and walk around in it. Will post my more of my thoughts later on in the week

I'm going to hold off on trying to review the body for a little bit. I will give the launch a 6 out of 10 though, because the sim was full at exactly 8 SLT and it's probably going to be full for the next week. They were smart enough to have alternate places to demo and buy the body, but...the full sim is the only place you can buy anything for it except for the few things you might be able to pick up at the other fairs that are currently open. No cam sim....NO CAM SIM!!! I expect that to change in the next couple of days as more events open up, but for right now walking around with a bra and panties just isn't me. I'm a little disappointed at Velour if anything because they don't have the skin at the mainstore. I need dat. A couple of hot takes: The price- I'm good with the price. I bought both and I'm pretty sure anybody that wants the body will be willing to pay for it, even for both. It's not a deal, but it was about what I expected. A discount would've been nice...buuuut, oh well. Judging how packed that event is going to be for the next few days I think a lot of people are good with the price too. The Body- I haven't played with the classic yet, but the curvy is nice. Upper body is good, no noodle arms, shoulders and underarms look great. The breasts are full, they're up there with Legacy's. The lower body, it's a Freya butt. It's basically a Freya upgrade. I can't comment on the feet, but I'm guessing they did something with the UV so I'm thinking you really, really need a skin designed for the body to get the full effect. Which is why I'm holding off on reviewing it. The body scales well, which is always a plus for me. Right now, I'm in the I'll wear Ebody for a little while longer boat. I said that a couple days ago, i was kinda prepared for that. As more stuff comes out for it, I'll probably switch over. I think its going to shake up who's creating for what body though. So the next few months are going to tell the tale. For now though, it's going back in the box until I can actually shop for it....which will probably be sometime next week lol.
