Good luck to whoever got it. Didn't realise there was a limit on throwback per day so rip. Oh well the hunt for the perfect home continues. :D. Thanks again.
Simply means that there is an even better house out there waiting for you to find it .

So many windows to wash, too! And all that yardwork was more than my poor internet connection could handle
I had 6 coastal Victorians at one point, but after reading articles about hoarding I realized how foolish it is to have more than I can use so have been abandoning them and will keep just one. I have two more to leave sometime but not sure when as my internet connection comes and goes lately.
I got one the other day in Palatine Hills and if that was you who released it thanks so much! and if it wasn't you then thanks to whomever did release it.

I've been thinking of asking folks here that when they post url's for places they are giving up to stand OUTSIDE of the parcel, not in it, before landmarking. That way, when folks click the link here in the forum, they don't wind up in someone's living room. I had that happen a few times last night -- luckily no one was home lol
Oops I am sorry. I know I am one that has done that. From now on I will try to remember to post the link outside of the parcel.

My alt has just grabbed a perfect traditionald in Washburn, just on the coast so whoever released it - thank you
I like when people post this kind of stuff, lets everyone know that coastal locations are still possible. Congrats and enjoy your new place .

Releasing this parcel at 7:30 pm SLT. It is in Leonine Mews. It is not by the water, but it is on the cliff and you do get a nice view of the water and you can also derender the trees for an even better view. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Leonine Mews/170/18/47

Where I am I need to get up in the wee hours of the morning like 4am used to be 3am to be around for the early releases. I've been looking for the abandons for awhile now, never an ocean plot yet in 3 months, I do see a lot of them claimed and never visited or used . Thanks for the good luck ,we will need it, 🙂
Also keep up to date on the log homes, once these are released you may see a influx of peeps abandoning seaside Victorians & traditionals.

My advice is, use this thread to know when NOT to click!!! If there is a lot of activity here, better do stuff in RL than trying to get a LH, the competition is too high! Many people posting means many eyes watching and many fingers clicking. But if you are lucky and have the option in RL to try at odd hours, do that. I got my dream homes at the water, all of them amazing abandons, when manually and randomly clicking at odd and very odd hours, when nobody posted here at all. With this method it never took longer than two weeks, sometimes only two days after I decided to upgrade an alt. The only theme I never managed to get is a houseboat, they are rare anyway and dream locations even more so.
@Ethereal Silvercloud & @FlakeFallenI totally agree with this. I don't work Tues/Wed so I can try for a new release, but most of the times it is either I don't get one, or it is too boxed in for me. The best parcels I have ever been able to get, that work for me, are ones that get abandoned. If you are only trying when there is a new release your chances are slim. If you try for abandons, you have much more of a chance as people can release them at anytime during the day or night. You have to be a bit persistent, but it does up your chances.
Go here for some tips on using auto refresh to get ones that are abandoned:
Good luck and I hope you are able to find a home you love soon .

There are so many gorgeous abandons out there. I have seen so many of my friends get beautiful parcels that are from the original release, you can't really go wrong.
You really can't. The best parcels I have gotten are abandoned ones and the great thing is you can get them 24/7 cause people can release them at all times of the day and night. Not like having to wait for them to do a new region release. I am lucky to even get a parcel in a new release, least of all the one I want.

I'm very grateful for posters in this thread but an official release list from LL with regions, dates and times of release would be so helpful. At least then we could plan around it rather than having to guess.
They are never going to give us a list. The releases happen when the region is ready to go, if they gave us dates and times and it didn't happen due to a technicality people would complain. There is a lot that goes into a release they apparently need a group of people when they release a region.
