    It really is quite impressive.

    As of:  2 April 2020 @ 6:25am SLT/PDT

    Home Type Available
    Campers 43
    Houseboats 2
    Log Homes 4252
    Traditional 73
    Victorian 81

Please note these inventory levels may change drastically and suddenly without warning.  We will try to keep them updated as time permits!

This is a great time for one to try to get a better location for your victorian or traditional.    It's raining houses!

I know that I won’t be a permanent resident of the log cabin regions. I grabbed a couple (let the second one go) to have the experience. Deep in my heart, I hope I’ll land an ocean view Vic, as folks are letting go of their current homes in favor of the new ones.

Me either, I grabbed one and will give it a go.  I think they are just lovely and I love the landscaping, but I think I am more geared towards the trads & vics.   I really love that they are slowly giving us more choices in themes!

I was logged in yesterday, and tried to zoom in close on the map, on the coast of the Log regions.

To my eyes, it looked like there are a mountain range following close to the coast, and no homes with sea view. Can others say if they see the same, or is it me?

These mountains circle the finished southern coast and up the east side... It has to be a deliberate choice. Is it to be sure all log homes has the mountain/inland environment? Or is it to cut down on the abandons? As it is today, us who play the Game of Houses prefer a coastal home. Yes, it is a few exceptions. Maybe I should say the majority of us.

If there is no houses with sea view, people will not keep on abandoning houses to get those desirable spots. It is simply no one.

Edit: I can't wait to zoom into the regions. And walk in.

Personally I never thought of coastal views for the log cabins.  I just figured mountains and lakes/rivers and lots of trees.  I agree that one side looks like it won't have a costal view,  more like mountains to separate the vics from the log homes.

  4. Even after I try out the log homes, I still know I am going to have the urge to do the nomadic thing.   Trying out different locations and trying out parcels and seeing where they take me with my decorating and then letting them slowly go at some point.

Until the new themes are all revealed I think I will be a gypsy for the time being.

I've been delighted with my alt's houseboat at Walrus Beach. She got it at the end of the August during the region release. When I started clicking around today, I thought I'd check out a houseboat on the land page. I picked up this gem on my own account. I thought I'd never leave Walrus Beach, but I think this one's a keeper.

that one looks great!  do you mind sharing where it is?

  6. Me too!  I work at home and can't go out at all now and I am so thankful that I can come to SL after my shift is over.  Things have been pretty tough at work as my job has changed due to the virus.  I am now having to take calls with little training on stuff I know nothing about and it is causing me so much stress and anxiety.  They just keep adding more and more to our department.  Oh well at least I am working so I am trying to be thankful for that.

I am very thankful for all the moles and everyone else who works for SL that they are still doing the best job of keeping our little world still going :D .

  7. #1.  Houseboats because you will always be near water, you might not get a perfect location, but you will ALWAYS have water.  Evening star is my favorite cause it is smaller and I can still have an underwater garden.

As for the campers, vics, traditionals I love them all too, however, the location most often determines on how favorite it becomes including what style of house I would use.

At over 4000 people, roughly 40% of all of Bellisseria is in that one group. Sure, they are NOT all online at once, but they can all engage there - and the feel of the community, it's heart, beats through there.

where are the stats showing that 40% of Bellisseria is in this group?  You have a source?  Like how would you even know this?  What are you basing it on?

I feel your pain,or when someone posts theyre releasing a house you REALLY want a shot at...and you can't-because you have exhausted your ownerships for the day-on the same freaking house thats stuck to you like GLUE.

Even if you think you have no tries left you should try anyways.  You have nothing to lose other than getting the 24 hour message.  I have actually thought that I didn't have any tries left and found out I did have one left.

I just got this one.  I have been trying for months to get a sandy camper parcel cause I haven't had one yet.  Wanted to try one out.  This one has a nice layout, it's open yet private.   I am going to keep it for a bit until the log homes come out.

  12. I own a parcel on mainland and I pay LL direct for it.  I have no plans on getting rid of it yet.  I also own several of the new LH and I pay monthly on all my alts for those.  That way if I need to let go of them I can right away.  Also I am very lucky that I get to work from home.  I do call center work at home and there is no chance at this point of getting laid off or them being out of work.  Everyone still has to call in about their cell phones!

we put our photo in most all the homes we catch as we usually stay awhile at least and lots of times we don't know if we'll keep it. It doesn't bother me if others have left a photo, changes in secs. It is after all at that time our home .

Not sure why this would even be an issue.  You can change the photo with a few clicks.
