  2. Some People are inconsiderate of so many others. What you call edge cases are not and are usually just those that just want to be • Cute • Feminine • Girly • Soft • attractive • Youthful • beautiful This follow the early and modern standard beauty idea. They are not trying to be children, they are trying to be Aphrodite like. America still pushes this ideal standard of beauty in many girls, young ladies, Women. European culture spread this standard Aphrodite-like beauty ideal to many Countries. The American standard of beauty has historically favoured being White, blue-eyed, thin, and young. It is what they grew up to see beauty, femininity as. Some never got to experience what it's like to be pretty so they go online to experience this. Aphrodite has been the symbol of beauty that has been engrained in us that it is passive to want to be very pretty.
  3. I like to give people a lot of chances and the benefit of the doubt. I am, also, a person who like to see proof. I see it for myself and now I realize they are a troll.
  4. They don't know that the most popular MMORPGs protect their "RPing community" Including the ERPing community. WoW has a huge ERP community, so does FFXIV. Without those people, they would stop being popular. Look at how they did with Phantasy Star Online 2: NGS. They stopped grown adults people from ERPing.... now it's a dead game. It's a Mature rated game. Now it's not doing so good.
  5. Everytime you play anything online as a certain character, that is not yourself.... you are roleplaying. So she, the person behind the camera, is Roleplaying as BilliJo. The only way you cannot roleplay is if you make your avatar the actual you and name it after your real self, which is not a thing anyone should be doing. When I am online, I am Star, when i am in rl, I am not Star. Idk why people do not understand this. lol
  6. The more I see you, the more you talk, the more I feel like you're a troll.
  7. ....My mom would have whooped me going to church in a dress like that. That is too much flesh showing, the skirt of the dress is too short., legs are too exposed, low cut front, you can tell showing cleavage. That would be a one way ticket to butt being spanked.
  8. That's fair but She looks adult to me. It is true that she looks youthful in the photo but youthful, however, doesn't always mean child. To me, this is a very romantic look, looks like she is just dressed to go on a date or dressed to be girly. This, to me, is a very feminine, soft, girly look that just shows a less masculine side of her. Like this is what it's giving.
  9. Prim head isn't smaller than any other lelutka head though. It's just modeled to be a Ball jointed doll inspired head, making your face doll-like.
  10. Yeah, the Teddy bear didn't start out as a popular child's toy, though it is represented as childhood. A lot of adults, today, still have and sleep with a teddy bear, Including straight men. It started with President Theodore Roosevelt's unwillingness to shoot a bear. Teddy was his nickname and that is the origin of the Teddy bear, Teddy's Bear. It became popular with children with how cute it was. I've seen some question why it's called a Teddy bear, it's because Theodore coined it and the name stuck to it like glue.
  11. Here is a fun fact about Bows though, think everyone will be surprised. Much like High Heels, Ribbons were once almost exclusively a man thing. Male and female, also, use to wear Dresses, pink was for Men, blue was for Women. Pink symbolized the heart because it's closet to the heart.
  12. Yeah, even before the ToS Faq, I knew that height didn't matter but some people Inworld truly believed that it did, in some places, in the past. The majority didn't care but the few were like "It is against ToS to be that short in an adult sim." Now the Faq is pure proof that it was never a factor to begin with.
  13. I'm pretty sure I seen Billy and Arielle say that this was a child. Arielle said because you have ribbons, she seen you that way.
  14. Ribbon isn't specifically child though, wives all across the U.S. use to wear ribbons in their hair all the time. I mean, look at I Love Lucy. Ribbons are a sign of femininity. In fact, ribbons are seen as Hyperfeminine still in today's society.
  15. I've been to several adult places as a 5'1" person and no one said a thing to me. People are so overly paranoid. Just because someone made an avatar with the average body type of a Rectangle and labeled it "There, I made a teen avatar with Legacy" doesn't mean that that body type is teen. There are more women with that body type there there are with hourglass and pear shaped. Which, pear and hourglass have been growing, though A lot of it is artificial means.
  16. I'm sorry to people who think this is a child avatar, but I don't see that at all. My mother irl still wears Spring dresses. When it is spring time, she wears spring time clothing.
  17. This is more of an experimentation, @Cinnamon Mistwood from what I understood. People always assume age and different races and backgrounds perceive feminine beauty on a biased opinion. Where I see feminine beauty as • Delicate • Girly • Pretty • Soft • Sweet • Nurturing Someone else see it differently: • Mysterious • Matured • Dominant • Independent My Aphrodite-like standard of beauty might not be the beauty someone else enjoys. Where I think I'm a woman, someone thinks I'm a child. In the end, I don't think it matters, what matters is how you feel, what you represent yourself as, how you identify, how you connect your world.
  18. So if you think the avatar looks like: a child (17 or younger) then react with a like, for an adult (18 and over) use thanks, and use confused if you can't tell based on physical appearance alone. Please don't respond to individual posts with written comments just use the reaction icons.
  19. That doesn't matter atm. It's a child avatar to linden labs, if it looks female they're going to tell you to put a female modesty layer on, if it looks male, they're going to tell you to put a male modesty layer on. It doesn't matter if you're neither male nor female, in the 3D world people look at how you present and rather you represent male or female, Masculine or Feminine. You can be an alien with no sexual organs, if the shape seems feminine then majority will see it as feminine. If they cannot tell, then what you wear will say if you're feminine or not.
  20. You didn't say anything about youth in the question you asked in number 2 of your inquiry. Nor did you specify if it was just about youth or child avatars. If it's labeled as Female, you have to have modesty, if it's Male, you have to have modesty. Even if it's androgynous, if you can't tell the different you have to have modesty and most likely the female one because it's androgynous.
  21. I don't know why they didn't turn of V1 style, that way everyone would have their on box and header, separating them from one another.
  22. I see that Coffee Pancake went there and jumped to Proactive Moderation meaning A.I. Proactive Moderation means that they're trying to prevent certain content from reaching public eyes. Example: Adult content that shouldn't be able to be seen by a child, they want to prevent this. That means if it's rated Adult and you're underage, you won't be seeing it anytime soon. In other words, they are talking about censorship.
