hello! I've been trying to find my conversation with one of my best friend in SL, the only issue is that I've changed my computer. it's the same account but a different computer (and my friend is no longer in SL). Is there any way to see that conversation? (it's been a year or two) It's really important to me so if anyone can help I'll appreciate it!

The most obvious answer is to set the graphics to low, it's a common solution it should help unless you have a lousy computer =P I have the worst computer, so I set my Draw Distance to 64m (thats the lowest it can get)- it definitely helped A LOT for my lag problem. Try to clear your cache, it might help as well. Also it depends on where you go- some sims are just too laggy... Actually SL wiki has tips on this subject, try each one of the solutions: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/How_to_reduce_lag If you'll still have the lag it must be something with your computer or internet, I would suggest to sale your land. actually last year the freebies hair were in a great quality! and every store had a free gift. This year I agree that there were less free attractive hairs, but after all it's much appreciated that they even give us something for free :matte-motes-silly:

I tried that but gave up in the middle of the process... I've visited the place over a year ago I think, so teleport history is not on my side. and there are too many notecards in my inventory- took me a whole day to delete only like 500 of them.

I actually did reloaded it yesterday, but today its all fixed! don't know what happen, it just stayed there

hey Gray, it works fine for everybody else so it must be something with your computer or brower. Try to log from a different brower (there are many browers out there, try Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet or any other that you find) . If that won't work it's most likely your computer- in that case just buy a new computer or use Marketplace from your phone.

I totally agree with you Phil, I asked myself the same question. I always used standart SL body and was glad with what it had to offer, but then I got a job and a mesh body was required... at first I hated it and it's been sooo confusing, but I learned how to use it (took me about a week!), and I looked for tips and tricks that helped me a lot. So my reason for a mesh body because it was required for me and then I just didn't want to take it off But others might say that they use it because it looks more realistic (and it surely does since SL standart body has some bone bugs), or it looks more "sexy" - either way you'll hear the same reasons over and over again. Tho I think you'll hear more reasons from female users, since there are no many male mesh-body users.

My most favorite is Lumiya, if I use SL from my mobile its always this app. it's not for free but it's not expensive. There is almost no difference between playing on the PC to playing on the phone from Lumiya you can check this video if you want to see how it is

I agree with all what Roling said, and yes most of the SL hires do not accept 'newbi' avatars but experience is not always required. I say live as a freebi avatar for a month or two (you can look amazing just being all free thanks to MP and group gifts that you can find in in-world stores), explore SL and see what it is about. If you will be interested look for a job after a while. there are a lot of clubs seeking for dancers, also if you have knowledge in photoshop you should be a photographer and editor, also there are many other jobs as Alwin said you can find it here: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Inworld-Employment/bd-p/InworldEmployment Also keep in mind that in the mean time you can visit places with money trees (you'll earn 2L$...), I earnd around 500L$ at Linden Realms (just look for it- its a game where you catch crystals and get money) and there is camping in which you stay in one place for a while and you get money (usually its 1L$ for every 45 minutes)

hehe no, Hogwarts its a whole different magical place this other sim was based ONLY on witches, and it had kind of missions, like small quests.

hello to all! few weeks ago I saw a blog posts such as: 'all the hair fair 2016 gifts' and I didn't see anything that I liked from the gifts... now I see on now days blog posts really pretty hairs from the fair! how come no one posted these free hairs before? and is the hair fair 2016 still happening? because I can't find it if not, is it possible to get the hairs as gifts now?

Cloudnet.exe crashed because she had too many stores popping in her head. there are so many stores and they all have at least something from this style! SL has hundreds of blogs check them ut, a lot of people also publish their outfits on Flickr so check it out. for example there is one of the biggest (cheapest) blogs- Fab Free, I love this blog and I find there a lot and they have slurs for the stores on their posts so you'll have a lot to explore. Also this kind of 'street\casual' style is very popular so its not hard to find, and I find it a lot in gachas. I agree with Tazzie as well, the easiest way is to find it on Marketplace- make sure to check out demos first.

This is what I ask myself everyday I usually find myself shopping on the marketplace, it takes 1-10 minutes to find what I need and its extremly easy. Although I prefer in-world... it makes if feel better, you explore the sims, you explore different types of stores sometimes you even find there group gifts and its always a nice surprise! So... the answer on the question is that I *tend* to shop on MP. but prefer in-world
