First off, I apologize for such a lengthy notecard, but it's very important that everyone is aware of this. IF YOU ARE A STORE OWNER, please read this!!


If you aren't already aware, Linden Labs seems to have implemented an unannounced server change which disrupts anything that uses scripts with ||GIveInventory, thus claiming it as spam and stopping scripts from giving people items.

This can affect any inworld item such as scripted vendor and more importantly, a subscriber system.

Because of this, many store owners are facing HUGE problems. This also causes problems for people that wish to receive updates from stores but lack group space (or maybe there isn't one available for the store).

IF YOU ARE A STORE OWNER and you own a subscriber system, please watch moniter whatever subscriber you are using. Send out a test notice with an attachment to see if you're affect yet. Also please be weary of any of your scripted items and vendors that give people stuff.

There is no need to panic just yet, but we do need a plan and to watch this issue.

Even if you are in my group and not my subscribe-o-matic, you still might be in another store's subscriber.

I do not know if I might be affected seeing as I don't have as many people in my SoM as some stores, but I am concerned something might happen. I've already sent a test message, and so far I'm not affected.

I have a vender you pay 3000 lindens for their vender kits, and then they change the rules in it without

warning, and can't get your money back. Furthermore, they did not post in on the marketplace that they

would do that. 3000 lindens are about 15 dollars of real money you pay for the vender  kits, and they don't

have  the rules posted you find out after you buy it as in >> (subject to change) is not in it, and they hide

group invites into the products that show up in open chat in your vary shop.  We need rights in here we

have a hard time already trying to sell inworld, without the people t sell vender/reseller kits stealing group

invites in your very own shop, and landmark is fine.  However, the group invites in your very on group shop

and land (WTH!!), and then they give them mad gifts to steal them from you.    Do that in a club here go in

invite people to your club group and see what happens,  I will tell you.  A very fast boot in the azz that's

what... an let's not forget the ole banned for it.   Nevertheless, for some reason, the people that sell the

reseller kits think they have a right to. ( take your money,/no refund if you bust them, steal the group invites,

disrespect you) after you ask them about it an ask for a refund  and think they are God on earth an if you say

you don't like it cut off your vender and rip your money even if you never use the vender/reseller kits they

sell will not refund you in spite of when you buy their stuff before. Yea I said it I have names ... am sick of

living in fear of a ban for telling the truth there reseller kits cost 3000 2000 notwithstanding 5000 lindens

each.... its my money, and I need it now!! It is that better bit@h my PC fixed at present less the second life

You have all the usual basic rights in this case. You agreed to the terms of service in place when you brought it. Any changes the creator makes for future buyers don't impact you, because you didn't agree to those terms. They can't suddenly decide no one can use the item anymore.

However, be aware that if the creator doesn't specify any rights, you only get the minimum rights required for use - which for SL, is using them on the main Second Life grid in your builds. If you want rights like using them on other grids, you have to specifically get those rights. You can't assume you have them because the creator didn't mention it in their terms of service. Some complaints about changes in terms of services I've seen... they haven't been anything of the sort. It's just the creator has decided to reword to be firmer about the rights they haven't granted.

And if that wasn't your question... try again with shorter sentences. (However), at least I tried.

I didn't complain about your spelling. I'm dyslexic, so I've been there. As long as I understand, I'm fine with that. The trouble was I didn't understand your post, and nor did anyone else. We all had different interpretations, and judging from your reaction here, none of us understood it. So you have a choice now. You can try and re-explain it and we might be able to help you. Or you can throw a hissy fit, blame everyone else for not understanding what you meant and edit everyone's posts.

She did do that she changed it an than push the new rule on us. than said its my stuff i made it i change what ever i please, that's after she took me for 5k than tell u if u don't like it keep selling it until u get your money back .   In the mean time thy still getting paid.  think if thy change the rule we need to get an100% refund as i did not agree on it when i buy it, but other vender state before u buy it that thy can change things an warn your of it, but she has not done that because thy know nobody in there right mind would buy it. i also might add that the ones that said thy will change at anytime there venders is free.

It was not linden labs or even the vender she use to send them out,  its her she did it an put me out of the group an keep my lindens also . It was told to me from the maker of the vender that she did it. Than she told me to go to her land an do it,  when I got an outfit from my own vender,  I have from her. She give me back my right to send returns to the good people that buy my venders, but in return she put me also out of the up date group. Upset about her own rules that she posted on marketplace that we will have 100%updates in the group  she put me out of the group so I will not have info when new updates come an told me go to the page an look each day for it.  for real I think its because am black i mean come on all i asked her for is what was agreed with so its vary strange if it not that.       Thank  for not being nasty to me about my typing an not calling me an bi*ch like I was called before an the mood jumped on me for being upset about it in my reply
