When you wear it you will see in local chat the following message: This garlic necklace will protect you from being bitten by Bloodlines Vampires. If you answer 'Activate' to the dialog, you will stop receiving bite requests. If you ever decide you would like to play Bloodlines or be bitten, wear the necklace again and select 'Deactivate'. Any self respecting Vampire will ask you first if they can bite you. Just say no. Of course, there are bad apples in every bunch.
