My problem with premium and the so called free land and free home

They charge $10/month for premium. They say you get L$300/week and 512sqm of free land. Yet the charge you $5/month on top of the premium charge for the so called free land. So why are they calling it free land when they still charge you $5/month for it plus $10/month for premium?

As a premium user you get a 512sqm allotment that you may use for either land or a Linden Home.  But not both.  So if you have a Linden Home and own a plot of land, that is why you are getting the $5 tier charge.

Hi Linera

You get a free Linden home but that goes toward the 512sqm of land. If you buy a 512sqm lot on the mainland now you have 1024sqm of land. The $5 is the cost for the extra 512sqm over the 512sqm you get with no fees. Look in your account at the land manager section then the land use fees and it shows what you pay in fees for the different size of square meters of land.

Do I have to purchase my Linden Home parcel or home?

No. Linden Home parcels and themed homes are provided to Residents with 512m2 available land allocation. Each Premium account is provided with 512m2 free tier that can be used for a Linden Home.

If so it will show you are not paying for 512 in your land fees section on the dashboard. I know what it says and it simply isn't written properly. LL fault.

Yes, 512m is $5 a month. BUT if you sign up for a premium account, they waive the tier fee, basically, and give you that 512m free. If you choose to purchase ANOTHER 512m of land, you'll be charged an additional $5. You'll have a total of 1,024m, but since that first 512m is free with a premium account, you're only charged $5 extra instead of $10. The land maintenance fee list is for any additional land you purchase, NOT counting the 512m that's included in the $10/month charge for premium membership.

Premium accounts

To be precise, a premium account has an included minimum 512m2 tier. Let's call it "512m2 base tier." As long as you have a premium account, it's there with you —? one of the perks of being premium.

You can always increase your tier on the Land Use Fees page, which adds to the 512m2 base tier. For example, if you upgrade to the "8,192m2" tier level, that's actually:

512m2 base tier + 8,192m2 additional tier = 8,704m2.

Say for some reason you want to downgrade the additional tier to 0m2. That means:

512m2 base tier + 0m2 additional tier = 512m2.

In brief, as a premium member, you can't have less than 512m2 tier.

I found that on my account but no matter what amount of land i enter it always says $0.00. it doesn't seem to work.

Maybe it would help if you could provide the steps you did and a screen shot as a result. Just like what Jacki did. At least that way we can help you if you happen to miss a step or two. I don't think you should have any problem with extra payment if you are a premium.
