Having a problem allowing my partner to have rights to edit, modify and dlete on my land...??????

Wont allow me to check off the boxes under contacts...  for them to be able to 1) see me on map 2) for them to edit, delete, etc  my objects and the third whatever that is......what could be the problem? Thanks  Ninatchka Markova

It's the friend permissions bug that we've all been dealing with since early July >>> http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Server/Known-issue-with-granting-revoking-permissions/td-p/975953.  Just be patient.  The bug has already been fixed on Blue Steel sims and will be repaired across the grid as the next version of server software is rolled out this week.

It's a bug that LL introduced in july and haven't yet got around to fixing it.

the easiest way to work around it is

• get your partner to log off
• then you open your partner's web profile page (http://my.secondlife.com/firstname.lastname),
• find the actions button and click on it and select permissions
• choose the perms you want to give. 

once you've done that, they can log in and will have the permissions applied.

or you can download a v2 viewer that has web profiles and supposedly do it as usual in there.

In the meantime, it seems unfriend and befriend again restores permissions. Just a temporary tip that worked for me.

The fix for this bug is now active on RC BlueSteel sims. If you type BlueSteel into your map & teleport to one of the BlueSteel sandboxes, you will be able to change perms there in the normal way.

The fix should berelesed all over the grid in the rolling restarts this week or next week.
