People tend to stop whining when you pay attention to their feelings...when you show some consideration for their side of things.

Yes! You should try it!

I've been actually participating in this thread, trying to understand others. I wish you could too, as your posts seem only critical. Maybe you're having a bad few days? In any case, at least you check in once in awhile. Better than nothing.

Wow,.really?  I visit multiple places including adult places from the Destination Guide every single day and I have yet to run into any randomly naked people.  The last one I did see was at the Welcome Hub, strangely enough, and that's even a G rated region.

You're forgetting.

ToS Un-Friendly Family Beaches!

"Mah right to drag mah Clickbait friends to NEKKID strangers!"

Unless its more like:

"Daddy, what does Bur... Burlesky Stripe-Tees mean?"

"Come on kids, lets do EDUCATION!"

I'm still waiting for a good reason that applied alphas won't be good enough.

"Because the Walking ToS violation AR Clickbait can take the system alpha layer OFF, when they think Governance are not watching, and violate the ToS."

Your wait is now officially OVER. Congratulations.

If there are no pictures, then did the tree falling in the woods make a sound?

if there are no pictures, why is LL bothered by all of this in the first place?

two avis, off in a corner doing illegal things, and no one knows? honestly what is this all about then? its not the act i guess, its the solicitation of the act

big bad pedo hitting on poor innocent children… lets disrupt the whole grid and piss everyone off

As part of the TOS, are child avatars allowed to take part in mature RolePlay of a non-sexual nature that you'd only expect to see in PG/higher movies, or "Mature-Rated" video games? Examples:

- Child vampires, drinking blood and converting adults / other children

- Child Zombies, killing victims and consuming human flesh

- Murder / vigilantism

- Demon worship / summoning evil spirits

- Attacking innocent people for enjoyment

It could be seen as SL being a place to act out your illegal fantasies, no business needs that sort of attention.

None of those thing are illegal virtually.  Virtual depictions of CP are in many places.

Legal, illegal, doesn't matter a tiny bit when it comes to the real problem that can break a company's back in a heartbeat. Corporate image. Destroy that, and you don't need any laws or legalese. When a big enough group of very vocal people come to the impression that SL runs under the headline "Join the world - your perversion is already waiting for you!" no lawyer will help anymore. And a little reminder: one person here in this forum, who attacks, insults and sprews hatred against kid avatars constantly and repeatedly said it herself about her community: we are perverts and want to live out our perversion without any kid avatars nearby. That in a climate where a book about two male penguins raising a chicken together leads to very real protests against libraries. No, this whole thing is not about sexual ***** being illegal. It is about the image of SL.

But if we want to talk about legal aspects, lets talk about the real *giant* elephant in the room. Forget about the legality of any content - look at the accessibility! While many content not being illegal, having it easily accessible without any age verification actually *is* illegal in many places. Oh, and international law was mentioned. In my place of residence it is extremely illegal to show, glorify, promote and deal with WW2 related nazi stuff. SS uniforms, swastikas, running a virtual SS brigade. Big trouble ahead.

A question.

Is it against the TOS for an adult to send a graphic sexual im to a child?

If yes, AR the adult

Is it against the TOS for a child to send a graphic sexual im to an adult?

If yes, AR the child

No child is “forced” into an adult situation beyond receiving an unwanted im

AR and block.

So does a lot of the Porn, The Adult side of Second Life is Important but it can hurt a business if all they see is just the Adult side of second life.

We are all well aware of that.

We are talking about illegal fantasies here

Like sex chatlines, in most counties you cannot talk about underage sex or any illegal topic even if it is classed as a fantasy,.

We are talking about child exploitation fantasy.

Second life is based in the U.S. it is not illegal here to like fictional characters, however I'm not justifying the actions of underA.P. Second Life is not trying to remove child avatars or use fear tactics to control the users behind them, or make them feel bad as a whole.

just so you are aware of that.

This forum is not about that, it's about the change of the ToS and about Modesty.

I am well aware of that

I was responding to BilliJo's points

And the issue on modesty,  well this thread seems to have brought up different issues.

Yes i agree, that's what this thread is about, but I think by your comment, you show changes in the TOS will do NOTHING to stop ***** from happening, which is what the changes in the TOS are suppose to be about

K, just telling you, the Moles have already threatened to close the thread. Keeping it civil is within our best interest so trying to avoid unneeded slander, calling of names.

It has been the same thing over and over.

I have no wish to slander anyone, and nor have I done that, you are talking to the wrong person.
