Computer blocked on login

I have been trying to login  to SL since last night . I had dl the most recent firestorm viewer and it was working so I went back to the previous viewer. I did a clean dl, restarted my computer, restarted router., nothing works. I tried to contact sl support and it wouldn't let me send a ticket . I till get a window stating " Second cannot be accessed from this computer". I feel like I have been blocked by error . I am not a greifer and there are only less than a handful of  people I actually see on there. What else can  do to fix this?

Hello. Have you tried logging in with the Linden viewer yet?  If not, please try that. https://secondlife.com/support/downloads/

Sometimes, anti-virus or anti-malware software can mistakenly blacklist a viewer and prevent it running. The Firestorm guide to "whitelisting": https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/antivirus_whitelisting

Since you can log in on another computer and you're logged in to the forums, the account doesn't seem to be the issue.  You'll have to file a support ticket.  Be sure to log into your dashboard first or follow the support link.down at the bottom.of this page under Connect with Us/Support

From all you wrote along this thread, my bet goes to your OS firewall. Did you try disabling it?

Or . . . If you have access to your router's firewall's black/white lists make sure the traffic from your computer to SL's login system isn't blocked.

Another possibility since it is just that computer (really a GOOD THING) is that somehow a Windows update (assuming you are on Windows has messed things up. This has happened to me a LOT mostly on the machine with Win11.   Running Glary Utilities (other utility programs would probably work) and restarting the computer has solved each issue. Seems to be registry issues in my case.

Check what Chic points.

One remote possibility but that should also be considered is that some application you're not aware of tried an hostile connection to SL and LL's security blocked your PC's MAC address. So, it's important to contact Support and have that cleared., whether that was the case or just a possibility.
