I have ims and notices off on all of my groups except maybe 4, or so. Why do I still get voice chat overs from the group IM? How can I stop getting these??? Thank you!

the Linden viewer doesn't have this option. I think Firestorm does tho (maybe other TPVs as well). More here:

Preferences/Chat/Automatically ignore and leave all conference (ad-hoc) chats: Shuts down any conference chats in which you are included.

If the group chat is currently ongoing during the login process, that seems to make that group chat's option to be ignored .. be ignored.
