Why do most all pants/shoes combo look like you're ''flooding''? Any clothes that don't do this??

Everything AT the inworld store has a demo.  You just touch the vendor to get the menu and request a demo.  I didn't see the jeans specifically linked in this post.  They do have other jeans and shoes, though and all with demos.

It is interesting how we are getting different results at this store, Rowan.

That's very odd.  I got the demo option on every vendor I touched.  Glitch?

They haven't had demos for any of their products ever. I contacted them years ago about it.

Those prices and reviews are way too crazy to take the gamble.

Not on the MP but as I said, I was able to get demos at their inworld shop but @Echelon Alcottsaid he couldn't.

I didn't use the Demo button just touched the picture in the vendor and got that menu.  

ETA:  Just tried the Demo butttons on several and received demos without a menu coming up.

Maybe they are woman activated?   😁

There are 4 stores in the sim. CA Homme, Chic Femme, Azalea and Caligula.

Azalea is a furniture store, while the other three sell clothing. Caligula does not offer demos. CA Homme and Chich Femme do offer demos.

Mystery solved.

No... nonononono.... one of the 1 star reviews (on a different but similar product) is mine for a reason. It was awful, just seriously awful.  The mesh itself is kind of blurred, almost smooth, between the pants cuff and the shoe, the whole thing was  ill-fitting and poorly made. It looked like I was a kid who had stolen his dad's clothes, PLUS I was looking at them through a camera with the focus set incorrectly. I deleted it. And would have still deleted it if the price was L$0 instead of L$99. They were made from a full perm template I think - I have seen them from other creators besides Caligula and they all had the same issues.

Caligula's newer stuff is great, but these old combo templates - avoid at all costs. They've stopped doing them (I wonder why).

By far the best method of avoiding the OP's problem is to wear unrigged shoes and adjust the height of them.
