Learn how to make a few things to sell on the marketplace! 🙂 There are things like textures that you can make with no knowledge of 3D modeling or scripting, just some kind of image editor/software like Photoshop, Paint Tool SAI, Gimp, etc. Seamless textures can be fun to make, and always sell pretty well since people use them for various things! They do cost L$10 to upload, but honestly you could play a game like CrystalCraze to get L$10 in 15-20 minutes tops.

Hell, you can make shapes for bodies + heads. There are a few mesh bodies and heads for free, so you could grab those and make a few different shapes to sell. I'm not sure if you're able to make shapes for demos but if you can, you can always just pick up the free demos for popular bodies and heads as well! If you start small and just make a bunch of little, easy things for cheap, you can work your way up to getting a decent amount of L$ coming in.  

Alternatively, if you're willing (or able) to invest a bit of RL money into getting some L$ you could find a store to rent, and put up affiliate vendors! Then you don't even have to make anything, you just sell other people's items and make 30% - 40% of the sales depending on who you work with. ^^ If you rent a store for like L$250 / 300 a week, all you need to do is make 2 sales a week to pay for rent, and anything extra is profit! ^^ If you aren't able to invest the money for this at first, you could always start with selling small easy things on the marketplace until you have enough to rent a store, then do it that way!

Games in SL that offer L$ prizes are usually either scams, or else the prizes are so low it's not worth the time you waste playing them. 

Another option, which requires no financial outlay to begin, is to learn how to be a club host. You will typically be required to work a minimum of 2 hours a week or more, at club events. You will work in partnership with the DJ, and your roles include posting group notices and events listings, greeting customers as they enter, answering queries about the club/region, sending group invites and (the most important part IMO) keeping local chat active by engaging guests in public conversation.  You'll usually be paid in tips only, which might range from L$200 to L$1000+ per event, depending on how busy the event is and how good you are at the job. Most clubs will require you to be a certain age in SL (usually 60 days).

SL is not intended to be an easy way to make money.  It's intended to make for money for Linden lab.  

If you just want to play and have fun, then you can earn a few lindens to help you join groups and get their group gifts by playing one of the inworld games that let you win or earn a few lindens.  If you wan to make more money than this, then you'll have to develop skills that other users are willing to pay for. If you want to be a stripper, escort, club host or DJ you will need to create a good-looking mesh avatar and learn how to communicate well in text and voice. If you want to make and sell stuff, then you could learn how to make shapes, textures, mesh items, scripts or animations. All of these jobs require RL time, effort and some money, so No, it is not easy to make money in SL.

I just do fishing mostly to gain money and then with the extra that I get from fishing. I tend to use that to create stuff to sell. There's quite a few good games in SL for earning Lindens like Lindo, Virtual fishing, Fish hunt, Gold hunt, magic fishing, crystal craze game and that.
