Would a movie like Shallow Hal (2001) be made today?

Shallow Hal (2001) has an important message under all its humor - the importance of inner beauty over physical appearance. While the message a honorable endeavor, it unfortunately comes with a lot of jokes that could be considered "politically incorrect": fat jokes, jokes about womens' appearance, and stuff like that.

Do you think, given how politically incorrect the jokes are, this movie would be made today?

Hell, likely 90% of the movies and TV shows of my younger years could never be made in today's social climate.

idk i felt people were a bit more tolerable in those days. Seems these days those offended by things perceived as PC are the more vocal bunch.
