I was able to sit inside of the defective elevator, and when hitting the close door button it resumed working, going from one floor to the next as I hit the close door button, until there were no longer any buttons lit inside, and it then resumed operating as it should. As simple of a thing it is, for some reason I really like elevators in SL as I do in RL, and was happy to see it working from the call elevator button. For a while though, I couldn't get either of them to operate when visiting the hotel, so I think someone must have been putting in a lot of work fixing the place up. I noticed the rental boards have been changed a bit as well, it is good to see it still being updated. I never meet any resident there, so I hope the hotel manages to stay in SL for a long time. It is now the only hotel Chelsea that has the old spirit, the RL version is really no place for bohemians anymore. I do see that there are some SL sponsors and I also put some in the tip jar from time to time. Not to sound like an ad (as I sound like an ad) but I love the way the doors open, the lighting system, the SL water in the poolssssssss, the everything.
