Real Clothes?

Hey Folks,

A number of years ago there was an SL men's clothing store that also sold real clothes. You could buy a tee shirt for your avatar or pay for a real one and have it sent to you in real life.

Does anyone know if there are any inworld stores that are doing this currently?

I have no idea, but I remember watching something on a SL TV channel ages ago that was reporting how fashion designers could have in-world  virtual versions of their RL clothes, and there was a designer who was doing this, although I don't recall who they were. I'm sure a few have had the idea. You could get t-shirts printed with your own SL designs/photos fairly easy enough in RL.

American Apparel did that in 2006.  The idea didn't seem to catch on.

I bet creators that offered that service today would be pulling their hair and/or teeth out knowing that the end-user just might modify their "art". The horror...

There's the official store, of course >>> https://www.redbubble.com/people/Second-Life/shop .  It doesn't offer the range of resident-designed clothing that you are looking for, but there's a limited amount of stuff with the SL logo.  It's a start.  😉
