avater wont rezz cloud only HELP read my notes please

i have not been able to rezz my avatar for 2 days now . i have done all the usual things , changed our attachmemts, re baked, re log, changed graphic settings , etc etc . i set up an alt Avi and it works fine , so the communication with my Mac seems ok . Main avi will not rez . this happened for 2 or 3 days about 2 weeks ago then remedied itself with me doing nothing .    Anyone have any suggestions ?   Help

Check to see if you are wearing all of the following base components: Hair base, Skin, Shape, Eyes. If any one of these is missing your avatar will remain a cloud

If you've done all the usual things, have you also tried clearing inventory cache and relogging.  A lot of times, even after I've tried everything including resetting to default avatar (which doesn't work in these instances for me), clearing inv. cache and relogging is the only thing that works

Not sure what type of Alt you setup. Basically it sounds like you have eliminated; viewer, connection, and computer problems. So...

The basic last step before giving up and clearing cache is to wear a Starter Avatar or switch to the Character Test Male/Female Roth/Ruth and then rebuild your avatar one item at a time. This is when you'll find the problem item if an item is the problem.

There was a problem with the Current Outfit folder getting messed up. It is supposedly fixed. The user fix was to make sure the entire contents of the folder were replaced. Thus the total change in outfit. Eyes, nails, skin, shape, shoes, ... everything.
