Garnet Psaltery
I presume this means the end of the few months' high cost of private region sales. Edited November 3, 2020 by Garnet Psaltery Link wasn't working. 1

animats
Once LL gets the provisioning automated, private regions should be limited only by the ability of people to pay for them. AWS capacity is very easy to add.
Garnet Psaltery
I took advantage of the brief hiatus to sell a region at a good price. It wasn't going to last, and I have to wonder whether LL's own price for a region will decrease next year.
Katherine Heartsong
I'd like to see prices come down too, and also the requirement that you have to own a full private region (first) before owning a homestead region go away. I would love a quiet, low use homestead region (for myself and partner, and maybe a few guest homes) to terraform to my heart's desire (geography/fine art double major here), but having the "rent" one of these from an existing region owner at the equivalent of C$140/month ain't gonna happen anytime soon. Happy to pay $50/month. Not sure how much computing power on an AWS server is required to run a 5,000 prim homestead, but it can't be US$109 worth.
