Aqualina Magic
I am looking for an already created avatar for personal use. I don't want to create a new one, as then you are stuck with the "newbie" stereotype for awhile, even if you explain to people that you aren't really new.I am looking for an avatar, that I could take over - use my email, update my own billing info, change the password, etc. Preferably this avatar would have a female or unisex name, and have been used a minimal amount. Please send me a message if you can help me out, I am willing to negotiate compensation. Alazarin Mondrian
I'm sorry, Aqualina, but that cannot be done. It's against the TOS to sell or transfer accounts. It would be quicker and less hassle to set up an alt account. It takes roughly 1 minute and that includes the time it takes to open a gmail account for your brand-new alt account. Luc Starsider
I think that would be difficult since you are not allowed to 'hand over' an account to someone else. I'm afraid you have to go through the new avatar stage. - Luc -
LoveAngeL Lyre
This is impossible and illegal. I am sorry.
Venus Petrov
There would be nothing stopping you from creating a new avatar and sending it lindens to make it look less like a newbie. Your behavior will govern how others react to you so do not fear that the rez date of this new avatar will be very recent. Good luck!
Solbarondi
If the OP care such, he/she can write in the new AV's profile explaining this AV is not really a newbie.

Persephone Emerald
As has been stated above, it is against the TOS to sell or give an avatar account to another person. However, if you just hate the awkward newbie stage, I'd be glad to send you free transferable, skins, body shapes, AOs & lists of places to get more free clothing & stuff that every new avatar needs to look less noob-like. Just contact me (Persephone Emerald) in world. Also, if you want an old-fashioned last name for your avatar, there are few sites online where you can still register with a first & last name. (Do an internet search on "Second Life registration".) http://registration.scilands.org.uk/ http://www.daden-cs1.co.uk/cgi-bin/sl/regapi/slregistration.pl?api=intro&uid=daden http://registration.secondhealth.org.uk/ Those sites are a few examples, but I haven't tried them to verify if they still work. If you want another last name besides "Resident" try those & any others that register people into SL through their own portal. If I were creating a new alt, that's what I'd do to not be stuck with the stupid, limited naming process most new users are now using. When you have the last name of "Resident" over your head in another person's viewer, that's the first thing that signals you as a noob to them. The next is how your avatar looks & moves. The next after that is how you talk to other people. If you can clean up all these areas, then others are much less likely to look at your profile to see how long you've been in world. If they do, but they see you don't look or act like a newbie, they'll, just assume you're an alt.
