Question

when I first log on, a messsage says my home is "unavailbe", but I found it via "my land" from the top toolbar.  so, I landmarked it and can get there easily.  not really a problem.  but when I am out and about and want to get home, if I click on the home button on the top toolbar, I get taken to a porn site called River Ortiz.  if I click the home button again, I get taken to antoher porn site.  I can stop using the button ok but I am alarmed that there is some link to a pojn site in my system.  can we remove this link or fault?   thanks.    Dave

Hello Searby. First time really i heard something like that. Did you try the command Menu World --> Teleport Home ? Did you set your home in your land? If yes, Menu Me --> Preferences --> General Tab --> Start location "My Home" --> Show on log in --> OK

After that try to relog. Also other thing a landmark and other to set your home position somewhere you have right to do it.

Let us know if you fixed your problem.  If not, maybe you need to clear your cache manually.

What home button are you clicking?

The one on your dashboard or the one to TP your avvie home in SL?

To TP home try using Ctrl-Shift-H instead.

If the Home link on your SL dashboard is taking you to porn sites I have no idea how you did that, mine still goes to my SL homepage. I don`t think we can even change that anywhere.

Thank you all. I set my "home" to my land from the tool bar so no more Ortiz. But, I find it strange that the original default location for the home icon on the toolbar was a porn site, seems suspicious that. Anyway, my problem is sorted. Ta.
