Gabriele Graves
You must login to your account on secondlife.com and then choose the "Premium Membership" option from the left hand list of options. The ability to downgrade to Basic is at the bottom of that page.
Rolig Loon
Just remember that your Premium membership is prepaid. When you indicate that you want to downgrade to a Basic account, your status will show as a pending downgrade until the end of the period that you have already paid for. Until then, you will still have all Premium benefits (weekly stipend, access to Premium sandboxes, etc). You will not get a refund for what's left of the time you paid for. The only major difference will be that you will need to sell or abandon any property that you own on the Mainland first, before you can request the downgrade. That includes your Linden Home, if you have one. It does not include property that you may own in private estates or property that you are renting anywhere. If you have joined more than 42 groups as a Premium member, you will still be allowed to remain a member in all of them even after you downgrade. There is always the possibility they signed up for premium during account creation. Though I would think the card (or PayPal) they used would automatically be added as payment info, I can see what it wouldn't be because that isn;t officially a "subscription" - it's a one time purchase.
