Becoming a DJ

I used to DJ in OpenSim, so I have some knowledge on how to DJ in virtual worlds. But need some refreshing!

1. What software do most use for streaming music?
2. Where do you all get your servers?
3. Do people usually talk on air in their events in SL like in OpenSim?
4. Do many people use stage names?

I'm not a DJ, so I'll defer 1 and 2 to those who are.

3.  Yes.

4.  You already HAVE a stage name of a sort...CalumAshby.  If you don't like that, you can create a Display Name that will appear in front of your user name, or in place of it, depending on how the other person has set up their viewer.

1 same as in OS, for example, VDJ or SAM

2 rent it on mp, inworld or rl, there are several  to find, use your search or google.

Hi, some clubs have their own streams.

Not talking DJs are - in my opinion - uselesss. Thats like turn on radio.

I do not mention the license stuff and this because you should already know about.
