Pic in the about section of profile

Hi all, does anyone know how to put a pic in the body section of a profile? I seen a few people that have small pics or images in there. Is this done with a HTML format or what? Thank you in advance.

Forum profile? Click your name at the top of the page click profile where your pic should be click the image icon you then get the option to upload a pic from URL or you can choose a file to upload click save and you should then have a forum profile pic

No sorry, I should clarify. I meant the inworld Profile

Oh for inworld profile i would suggest going to your web my.secondlife.com profile click edit profile click profile picture where you can choose a file to upload this avoids the L$10 fee to save a snapshot to your inventory to upload to your profile inworld

Do you mean the profile feed? When you take a snapshot it comes up as an option. If you post to your profile feed it makes a post in your inworld profile with that pic.

Sorry I use Firestorm and the section I am talking about is the "about" section. In the LL viewer it's the "Biography" section. Somebody told me years ago how to do it but I forgot how now.

Easiest way to see how this is done is to open is to open the web profile of the avatar that has the texture icons & look for the <icon>blahblah</icon> in their profile text.

You need to put the path to the texture between icon tags.

For example:

<icon>icons/SL_Logo.png</icon><icon>widgets/Error_Tag_Background.png</icon><icon>icons/check_mark.png</icon><icon>navbar/Favorite_Star_Active.png</icon>

This will display the following icons in the profile:



 You will find the textures.xml file in viewer install folder\skins\default\textures

Note that people using web profiles will just see the text, not the icons. This only works on Firestorm legacy profiles.

You also wont see the icons on your own profile, you'll need to check you did it correctly with an alt viewing your profile.
