I have no land, can i put a house somewhere without land?

I have no linden, but i got a free house in the market that says its only 82 prim(idk what that means) and doesnt require me to own land.But where can i put it then?? im a free member too so i dont think im able to own land, anyways. HELP PLEASE.

you do need land if you want to live in your house.

What it means at MP not to need land is for unpacking it. That has nothing to do with permanent being rezzed inworld to use it.

So shortly... you can't use it till you have land yourself. That can be mainland if you'r premium, or rent land from another resident.

You certainly can get land to put your house on.  As a basic member, you can own land in private estates, and anyone can rent land anywhere in SL.  If you do not rent or own land, you cannot rez your house (except for a very brief time in a public sandbox).  If you have no L$, I suggest registering a payment method and then buying some.  For the cost of a Big Mac and fries once a week, you can rent land and live like a queen (or a king).

I teach a class on land every Friday at 5 pm SL time, at Caledon Oxbridge University in world.  It's free to attend.  I recommend taking the class before you spend any money on renting or buying land.
