How do I post in the forums.

Ok. Obviously I can post a question but I can not seem to be able to post a forum topic. I am pretty sure I have done it before. Anyways, thanks.

First make sure you are logged in, sometimes you need to sign in again after a while. Second enter a certain forum, like Second Life, then  select a category, like Favorite Destinations, and click the category, on the top left corner you have the  green magic button "Start a Thread".

Congrats on getting this far. I cannot post anything at all expect answers to questions. There is NOWHERE that I can find to ask a question, start a new topic. Nothing. ANd obviously I am logged in. I give up. This should be obvious and easy, instead of frustrdating and confusing. Ugh.

You get there by clicking the "Answers" tab above. If you click the "Forums" tab you will be taken to a list of forums & subforums, you can click on the name of any forum to get to where you can post on it.

 

For example if you click on "General Discussion Forum" you will get to http://community.secondlife.com/t5/General-Discussion-Forum/bd-p/GeneralDiscussionForum & there is a button there called "Start a Thread".

Thanks! Yeah, like Peewee said, just click on answers at the top, then type anything in the ask a question box, then click post a question.

Doesn't seem to be a way , at least on my computer.  But SL is not really working on MAC anymore
