how do I take fast moving butterflies??

How do I take tiny moving objects (butterflies) back to my inventory, when I can't click on them to take?

You can highlight invisible prims, in the advance menu, if you are on FireStorm. The butterflies comes from an invisible box, and you should be able to see it, when it is highlighted.

Before you click on the box, click on something else - it sometimes makes it more easy, to grab those invisible boxes

. You will need a fast eye . You can try to hit ctrl + 3 to open the select tool and aim at them with a left click, if they are cought in the edit window, you need to right click them and select Take right away. Or try the same, but try to draw a frame around them with a left click, then also right click right away and take... or you try to use the Pathfinding Window (Build-Pathfinding-Linksets) then highlight the item and hit "take"

Most of the butterflies I have seen in SL are either particles or temp-rezzed objects.  In either case, they should disappear on their own if you simply stop or pick up the generating prim.  It's likely to be either a transparent prim (highlight with CTRL + Alt + T to see it) or it's an innocuous background object like a rock.  You should be able to guess about where it is by seeing where the butterflies appear from.  You could also use a Beacon (CTRL + Shift + Alt + N) to highlight scripted objects in the area.

there was a sim call love and romance, there you could get outfits that came with a anmination that made butterflys that would fly around you as you  take you your friend.

if you use a different sim, and still was wearing this anmination it would still make butterflys

so you may need you remore this object you are wearing to stop it.

open your inventroy and top of it you see a tab

wearing now, or something like that.

there you can remore the object, just look for the word butterflys, click on it and pick detach or remore.
