These days I tend to like clothing that, as you say, is attractive (and maybe even a tiny bit flirty), but not overtly "sexy." Probably my favourite current place for that kind of things, esp. for ensembles with jackets, is Liv Glam (LG). (The fact that they were sponsors of OBR in SL doesn't hurt too!) Also, I like *COCO* quite a bit, especially for boots. I think you might find things at either that are along the lines of what you are looking for.
