Pamela Galli Posted October 22, 2013 Share Posted October 22, 2013 I have baked AO to this object many times. Suddenly it gives me the error in the title. In the past when I got this error it mean that I did not have the object selected in Object mode. But I do in this case. I unlinked the image and opened a new one, twice. Still get the same error. Uriah Eulenberg Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 Yep it happens to me all the time... and suddenly. To me the following process works perfectly: 1. Open "Outliner" from pulldown "Displays" selector which is located on bottom left corner of each windows. 2. Select the object which you want to bake out (in object mode), then look in the Outliner. 3. Make sure the selected object which must be highlighted in Outliner has "Restrict Renderability" (the Camera icon) on. If the icon was grayed out, give a click to turn it on. 4. If all else is failing, I just copy the object instead of going through an export and import process and have been able to then bake AO, Pamela.
