selling lindens for the first time! help?

ok so i brought L$ around 2000L from my rl bank account and now i decided i need that money to put it back cuz i need to pay internet bills here in romania. i get this error yes i already visited https://secondlife.com/my/lindex/describe-limits.php .. not much of use to me.

 

ok so i got 2000L from last night and i had 1000L from inworld . i am not able to sell them? lets say i wanna put on the credit card 3000L . what can i do to sell them? buy more lindens? no way!

 

how do i get rid of that limit? i don't wanna buy anymore. :(

Martin gave you the right link to info about the temporary trading limits.  But there is another reason why you won't be able to get your money back...two of them.

1.You are not allowed to cash out money that was originally put into the system from outside...only $L that you earn in world.  This is to prevent SL from being used for money laundering.

2.  There are fees.  LL charges you a small fixed fee when you purchase $L, and a fee based on the size of the transaction when you sell $L.  Plus there is PayPal's fee.  When all is said and done, what you get out will be considerably less than what you put in.

Martin and Lindal gave you the correct answers, and so did the information from the Knowledge Base.  If you want to increase your trasing limits you have only two choices:

1. Submit a support ticket with a request to increase limits.  This takes about 5 days for a response. Or

2. Wait.  Your trading limit will gradually increase during the next month.

Let's be serious... L$2000 Really - That is Seven Dollars & Change USD in real life. If you need that back in your real life bank account then you are already in trouble. Adding L$1000 to that raises that ante to $11.25 USD.

Straight Answer - All the advise given here is correct!

You do not get to tell LL how to sell your Lindens. You have to follow the regulations. These exist for a reason.

Your ability to Buy & Sell Lindens starts only with your 1st purchase transaction. After that, a timed process is started to allow you to prove that you can handle monetary exchanges responsibly. This is exactly like obtaining a Credit Worthiness Ratting from a bank. File a request as indicated by the others responding to your question, to have your Trading Limits examined and possibly raised.

Since you are almost one year old, your Billing & Trading Limits timer has started with your 1st purchase of Lindens using your payment method. As you can see below it will take 8 to 27 Days from this 1st Linden purchase before you can sell Lindens.

1) Create a PayPal account tied to your credit card and/or checking account and go through the PayPal Account Verification process to obtain PayPal's highest verification level.

Selling Lindens:

When you are allowed to sell lindens the proceeds from that sale will be credited to your USD [uS Dollar] Balance. Afterwards you may request a Process Credit to have some or all of the credit sent to your PayPal account.. This step alone will take from 5-8 business days to complete. Once the credit has been sent to your PayPal account you may request a transfer of the PayPal balance to your bank account. This step also takes from 5-8 business days to complete.
