You can find out if they have "payment information on file" (which means they have given LL a credit card number or a PayPal account to make Second Life purchases), or "payment info used", which means they have used that payment method at least once.

This does not necessarily mean that they are a Premium member, though.

You don't, unless you ask and they answer you honestly. You can look for "payment info used" in their profile, but I was buying $L and thus had "payment info used" for quite some time before I finally went Premium. Why do you need to know?

Who's premium?  Heck I don't know.  Not for sure anyway.  But, it's just not important to me so the question never enters my mind.

BTW.  I'm premium.  That little tidbit of information and about $5 USD will get you a cup or coffee at your local Starbucks.
