"Destination builder and virtual travel expert AshaRhia launched an innovative project earlier this year, creating several pop-up destinations each month. These locations remain open for just a few weeks before being taken down.
Utah, Botswana (a personal favourite), Turkey, and an Avatar-inspired destination have been among the diverse offerings. Most of these operate on a pre-booking basis, requiring visitors to reserve in advance. For upcoming destinations, interested travellers should consult Asha's website."
"Charly Starsider posted this lovely and romantically soft and dreamy picture of herself looking just over her shoulder. Purists object to using a lot of bokeh, but I’m not a purist. I think bokeh can be very dramatic and romantic."
"Here’s my completely unofficial pocket/quick-start guide to this year’s SLB. For all the details, you should start browsing through the Featured News blog on the Second Life site." Read more on the blog.
"During my five years in SL, I waited every year for the biggest and most generous event: Birthday! And of course, the word "Gifts" had a special influence and magic. I exhaled, and like thousands of others, ran, ran, ran through all the sims, clicking boxes, faster, faster, to have time to fill my inventory with hundreds of items before closing, whether I needed them or not. Of course, I was the same as everyone else.
So far this year I took part as a designer with my handbags, making a joint collection "Zodiac" together with Arkona and Find the Fish. We have a place on Zinnia, welcome to visit, we have a very beautiful place with exclusive GIFTS"

"As the world and its mother probably knows by now, the team at Firestorm have just released their long-awaited PBR viewer, and – having held off from joining the beta testing or trying the LL viewer – yesterday was my first chance to jump in and give it a shot. This post is going to be a bit of a ramble (and honestly, if a Skell post isn’t a ramble then is it even a Skell post at all?) and will feature my initial thoughts, some of the EEP testing that I’ve done (and the surprises that testing threw at me), and a few of the things that have crossed my mind in the lead-up to trying out PBR for myself."
