Cannot rez a photo studio I bought in my Linden home

I just bought  https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/PNP-Photo-Studio-Version-30-CM/3126487, not for business purposes but for a SL fashion blog that I do. When I try to rez it in my Lindon home it tells me it's not allowed. I know I have enough prims so does anyone have an idea why I can't rez it? Thanks.

What is the exact error that you get when trying to rez it?

Assuming you do have the right group tag on

Is it too big? Are you trying to rez it outside and it's overlapping onto Linden land?

There are two people with huge megaprim eyesores on top of the rooves of their Linden homes in my Linden home neighborhood and multiple ARs go unresolved.

Please do not rez it on your roof or outside.

Most photo studios that I have seen are extremely primmy, and couldn't be used on a 512 M2 parcel. Try rezzing it in a large sandbox that allows scripts. You'll likely find the final prim count much higher than you thought.

If a really BASIC photo studio is enough I might have a full perm freebie one I can send you. A legal freebie. It fits in my Linden home and is under 10 prim I think. It is just some prims and a pose stand.

I have to have my group tag on to be able to rez in my home.. something to check :matte-motes-smile:

If you really want to use a static background then all you need is a prim and some background textures. And some poses you can run by themselves from inventory.

My recommendation is to find locations in SL that are relevant to the fashion you are wearing and take the pics there.

I can't tell you how often I get messages that say "I have a thing and it doesn't work. Please help."

My guess is this.  You're getting a message that says "Can't rez object at { xxx.xxx, yyy.yyy, zzz.zzz } because the owner of this land does not allow it.  Use the land tool to see land ownership."

I've had that happen to me when trying to rez something big.  Even though it fits on my land and I 'let go' of the drag and drop from invy on my land, it gives coords that are my neighbors no-build land.

The only thing I know to do is to drag and drop onto different points inside your home until it works.

Thanks for your answers everyone. This photo studio is 14 prims and I have 55 prims left to play around with so that shouldn't be the problem.

I agree with hugsy, it's probably trying to rez outside your home (or in part overlapping another parcel).
Try changing the spot where you rez the box and see what happens, then move the unit after it rezzes.
