Issues with a lot of things
Alicia Sautereau replied to Victoria Lovelace's topic in Second Life Server
Try to see if it happens in other regions or not with changing out fits there, if it`s working fine, you can submit a downed sim support ticket for them to restart your home sim, if it`s gridwide, this can be your connection to the SL servers (speedtest is just local to your area unless specificly set to dallas/LA) and will need some more digging what the issue is -
It *could* be cause because w7 has aero, it could in theory add a continious extra strain on the gpu for it to be warmer then in xp (just a guess) and when running sl ontop of it, it`s maxed as sl is efficient as, well, nothing Would suggest to disconnect the pc, put it on a table and clean everything well so you get your maximum airflow, if you can find a spot so it`s in some draft/easy to dump heat away from it the better You could always buy some cheap 120mm fans to increase airflow over the gpu to cool the pbc and fresh air for the gpu fan to take in Nvidia published the max safe temps for the GT 9500 at 105c, ofcourse there is some room as "max safe" is simply a warning not to push it much further as components can start to get damaged, also the efficiency of the card will start to drop slightly Also another thing to keep in mind at those temps is that the gpu will give alot of area heat and transfer the heat trough the slot to the motherboard itself and this will affect all components attached to the motherboard ontop of their normal operating temp (not problem for components but just something to know when dealing with heat issues)

Try setting MeshMaxConcurrentRequests to 16 I had problems loading large groups of avatars, actually lowering it solved the problem http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/avi-dosn-t-load-correctly/m-p/2138127#M20707 -
That`s why i said to go to go to a ocean sim, durrr... Restart your home sim, file a support ticket as a downed sim and it will be restarted (mainland or estate doesn`t matters)

Transfer Group Owned land to myself
Alicia Sautereau replied to Tytia Atheria's topic in General Discussion
Remove your land deed from the group and then sell it back to your self The fee is based on your peak use per month and aslong as you have sqm deeded to the group, it will count the land ontop of that for you -
Did you try changing outfit? I have had this several times at random but for me it was also affecting the world prims of going missing even if they were cached So far on the few times it happen the only way was to delete cache, login to an empty sea region, let the inventory load while i was gray and when it was done loading, change to another (light) outfit and logoff *if* it worked If it didn`t, hence and repeat, clear cache, wait, change and hope... No idea what actually caused it but annoying as hell

Moving house to get a better internet connection so as to connect to SL is such a wonderful solution. I shall try your remedy forthwith. Might work better than complaining to people a few thousand miles away from where the problem lies. Unless more people come with the same issue and life a few thousand miles across the big pond to pinpoint it to above.net again as they are clearly less then a handfull of hops from the LL farm But that would make sense....

marketplace merchants doing unfair things [SOLVED]
Alicia Sautereau replied to Flo Memo's topic in Merchants
That is just stupid... Banning as a service, ok, but banning so you can`t use it as a consumer is just retarded, as a business you also have to have *some* morals If it`s a griefer or something alike, switch both options on or if some one really went to far I`d be thankfull and with help finding the cause, give something back -

That would be sorta a petty thing to do. Just because you don't get along with the person doesn't nessicarily make them bad and publicly shaming someone is immature at best. Technically so is blocking them from using a product they bought even if you don't like them. While starting **bleep** or "defending" the friend is equally immature these tactics aren't really nessicary. If you don't like someone just let it goooo people. Don't talk to each other don't publicly shame each other on a webpage. It's one thing to tell ally our buddies about the person through chat and so on but posting there name in forums an on webpages is just terrible. Some deserve it as they call you names and accuse you of scamming for hours and to prevent more abuse from their friends as she is such a "sweetheart" they go at it aswell and claim to be saints Public blacklist solves the entire problem in the rare occasion that some one actually deserves a ban On the otherhand, if the person bought it from a place you can not deny them from purchasing it, the money should be refunded If bought by some one else as a gift, it should be refunded aswell after given proof it was gifted (does the marketplace even distinguish that?) -
Don`t forget the imvu freakish avatars

Trinity Yazimoto wrote: @ Theresa and Alica... its already a challenge for me to read english.... but reading and understanding this serie of numbers.... no.. im afraid this challenge wont be possible for me. *giggles* Could you please give some explanations about that ? Simply said: atlantic connections went to hell and causing issues because of the choked connection Yesterday with speedtest.net i had 5 to 6Mbps to the US east coast from holland, now it`s double that speed reaching 15Mbps, inside europe from the bottom tip of italy, i have a stead 50-55 Ofcourse there is a catch with speedtest.net, it all depends of wich host you use as some times there are several in one location but the speeds can different alot We need more transatlantic cables as the predictions are becoming true :matte-motes-dont-cry:
