The Westwood Coastal Chair set (2 chairs, rugs, coffee table) is on sale for $99, PG or A. Yes, that is the same chair that I liked so much recently at Bricolage, and it's still 10 LI. But the other chair is only 4 LI. No texture change options. At Dreamland Designs.

Looking for a bit of chintz for your livingroom or bedroom? Zerkalo has this 4 LI chair on offer this weekend - 4 patterns, PG or A for $60. Stated LODs aren't great, but they look OK to me from a distance. (There's also a 24 LI bed on sale and a 2 LI teapot planter.)

My find of the weekend, so far - The Looking Glass' Botanicals Singing Bowls - these are 3 LI **BUT** you can unlink the piece, remove the leaf shape, its shadow and the butterfly, re-link the 3 bowls and their shadow and wind up with a 1 LI piece that still has the random tones/chords (toggle on/off via Touch) that work extremely well in a Sakura (especially when combined with water sounds from a fountain)! Only $75 this weekend. (Some chimes are also on sale, but I find their tones annoyingly repetitive.)

There are several items on sale at Black.Sand this weekend, but this is one I haven't seen before and has good LODs - the 12 LI lounger is $60 ($50 with a group tag). Texture-change options and PG and A included.

For $75 you'll get all 4 colors of these leather chairs, single PG anims only. All the chairs shown are 4 LI, though there is apparently a smaller size included that is only 3 LI. At De Casa.

These (non-working) wall lamps from Floorplan/Brocante at Collabor88 are $88 per set, $188 for everything shown. Single and double lamps are 1 LI each. (Multiple shade colors, so if you want just one metal color no need to buy the fatpack! Gold, rose-gold, copper, platinum, silver, iron.)

I definitely second what Marianne says about the coat hanger - it's replaced my previous favorite from Dust Bunny (branch coat tree at 4 LI) in my homes. (Still, the Dust Bunny one is great if you want a more organic shape for, say, a Log or Fantasy home - you can tint the gold one brown to make it look more like wood: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/dust-bunny-branch-coat-rack-gold-boxed/18190754)

I think it's useful to have the discussion on modifying these items here but it would also be very useful to have a separate go-to thread on the topic of basic modifications, for the benefit of those who are new to the idea. (I could add some basic pointers on tinting items that I've posted previously here, but don't have the time right now to start things off - trying to set up a new laptop - yay!)
